From@LatviaUN_NYLatvia delivered statement no behalf of Denmark 🇩🇰, France 🇫🇷, Greece 🇬🇷, United Kingdom 🇬🇧, Austria 🇦🇹 and Portugal 🇵🇹. We reaffirm our unwavering support for Georgia’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. Russia continues its aggressive policies, including the unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine 🇺🇦, reckless and dangerous actions against its neighbors. Accountability is needed more urgent than ever! 18 years after Russia’s aggression against Georgia, regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali/South Ossetia are still under illegal occupation. We call on Russia to fully implement the EU 🇪🇺‑mediated 2008 Ceasefire Agreement, including the immediate withdrawal of its forces from Georgian territory. 16803From@janisdombravaUpon taking office, the Border Guard had full visibility via cameras of only ~3% of the total length of the Latvia-Belarus border. After a stricter conversation in July, everything has changed for the better. When I became minister, I found that despite video surveillance cameras having already been installed along many kilometers of the border, the Border Guard still did not have access to the cameras. As recently as June, the Border Guard saw only ~5 kilometers of the entire BLR-LAT border. I had to speak more firmly, and within two weeks the Border Guard was given visibility over 108 kilometers of the LAT-BLR border. Currently, cooperation with LVRTC looks good. Visibility of the remaining kilometers will also be provided at a much faster pace than previously planned. Why wasn't this done sooner? Let others judge that; I will focus my time on strengthening our national security and eliminating inefficiency and waste in the interior affairs sector. If there is an opportunity to remain in office, I will be able to report in the coming months on the completion of camera installation work on the LAT-BLR border. However, we will most likely implement a few additional projects so that the adversary cannot approach unnoticed.

LIPIN IS INTERESTED ⟩ Belarusian landing in the 'Stability!' list
@IvoButkevics Did you yourself understand what you wrote? 🤔😊 I got lost.
From@IvoButkevicsFor the state to ask us for more data because the state [protects?] our data... It's been a long time since I heard such a tempting offer.

@letardolv @CSDD_LV @Apvienotais_ It is very difficult with such long-term massively hidden 💩 and only a few hands and heads that can clean it up... but nothing, we will get to the bottom of it.
From@letardolv@AndrisKulbergs @CSDD_LV @Apvienotais_ I can't even imagine how you do your work when everything is in such a di.. You must be the face of a nerve tonic or magnesium ad.

What what, hide. No need to harbor illusions about this. We are not the size of Ukraine.
From@Krisjanis_K@poznaks @JurgisLiepnieks Now it's crap about that data. But imagine - at @AndrisKulbergs press conference some scoundrel asked what we plan to do if at night 500 Shaheds fly to LV at 600 km/h. And what to answer?

@JurgisLiepnieks @AndrejsUrbans You're not clueless... you understand very well what I'm saying. Access through identification and everything is ok. No anonymity and risk of AI tool scrapers and mass data pumping. An individual can be identified and mass anomalies prevented.
From@JurgisLiepnieks@AndrisKulbergs @AndrejsUrbans Yes? What is that then? You yourself explained that North Koreans need to be restricted, otherwise they will unrestrictedly study Latvian officials' declarations.

No need to make a fuss... the only thing needed is to prevent mass anonymous pumping... if the user can be identified, everything is ok.
From@MartinsKriekisAnd who here complained themselves that they can't sign? And what does a 'national security threat' have to do with being able to access officials with any bum's data? And then a small amendment in the draft law and access will disappear altogether, and you won't be able to see liabilities, property, or fairy tales. Not everyone is a sucker.

@Krisjanis_K @JurgisLiepnieks That’s 3x fingers... I myself could manage it with CLAUDE
From@Krisjanis_K@AndrisKulbergs @JurgisLiepnieks I understand that, Andri. But ask Elvim how technically easy it was to extract the existing VID officials' database. And you're right - everything here is made of shit, manure, and poop... 😉

@Astridamains @guntarsv I agree... small entrepreneurs need all accounting and reports to the SRS with 5 clicks
From@Astridamains@guntarsv @AndrisKulbergs Listen for a few minutes to the accountant's speech about absurdities in legislation - that is exactly why we have few small entrepreneurs. https://t.co/pnF2PmOFxm

@Krisjanis_K @poznaks @JurgisLiepnieks Right now that would be a challenge (today it's already 2x better than 2 months ago), but R.Melnis has a plan, and by the end of the year there should be much improved detection and more effective interception (at least 2x).

@letardolv @CSDD_LV @Apvienotais_ Sorry, but a submission has been made to the prosecutor's office and law enforcement will evaluate.
From@letardolv@AndrisKulbergs @CSDD_LV @Apvienotais_ Again, nothing will happen to anyone. It's fantastic that people are just being moved to other positions. As I recall, over the past 15 years, only that railway guy was convicted for a bribe from Russia. Various Bondars, it seems, only nominally received guilty status and did not compensate anything.

From@MartinsKriekis@JurgisLiepnieks It suddenly became a national security issue after 35 years, maybe because from the declaration you can see that Rinkēvičs has bonds worth 300k? And Russia already has an example of how to hide everything, why not copy it?
