No party is as harmful to Latvia’s future as “Progresīvie”; they not only support Russian culture in Latvia, but also undermine state security on migration matters, and Sprūds’s track record speaks for itself.🇱🇻 #patriots #nacionalists

“An absolute majority of citizens have supported parties that think in a state-minded and European-minded way. For that I can be grateful to the people of Latvia,” said Edmunds Jurēvics, chair of the “New Unity” Saeima faction, on the programme #ŠodienasJautājums. https://t.co/xHVKiwaw6n

I need to let emotions settle, get grounded, and evaluate my own results. My personal result is supposedly not bad — more than 1,200 votes better than 4 years ago. And, of course, thank you all 🙏 who voted for me. I managed to climb from 23rd to 7th place. But it wasn't enough. I can only blame myself — all six ahead of me deserve to be there. And not only that. Politics is such an interesting thing. Everything can change in a flash. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. But it's important to take it healthily, and that's what I'm trying to do now… 🧘😃 And, of course, thanks to everyone for the encouraging words — not only from LPV, but also from other colleagues. Part of politics is relationships. That's also what I will always like most in politics..🖤

The bank is back in the red :( @Chapis, what next? https://t.co/u90QUONv0Z

The citizens of Latvia have given the United List a huge mandate of trust. So that this time it would be different than usual, we could follow how the fulfilment of promises went. I have created a solution in which all promises and the current status are recorded. https://t.co/zBagRe77F3

@E_Stendzenieks @Lato_Lapsa Laws are oldschool. Everything has to be written in the Constitution, after all 😉

@Lato_Lapsa Glad about Judins, because in Latvia there are still a few, like 3-4, maybe 5 laws that he hasn't completely messed up yet.

@SamantaBlu64165 @edgarsj @lasilvportals Did you mean Article 27 of the Political Parties Law? Party members can only be learned by inspecting the party's file in person at the Register of Enterprises. It may also be that there must be sufficient justification for them to provide it.

I would never have thought that that smooth talker – the former cop – has such a huge crowd of groupies. https://t.co/RgEiSQbWkj

Rosļikovs' bold promises about returning from hospitable Belarus on 4 October have evaporated as if they had never been, the carnations prepared by his party comrades have withered... Safer, however, to stick to the dodging tactic, as his like-minded friend Stepaņenko knows well :)

It is very important that @RigasDome and @VKleinbergs do not allow this council member to have any contact with young people and schoolchildren in any way in Riga. Knowing from experience that the progressive council member Eņģelis sexually abused an underage girl, progressive men must not have contact with girls! https://t.co/wPsepiBr0z

The previous ones brought the country down to the doorknob. Thanks @AndrisKulbergs for courage. But one must remember that the parasitic state bureaucracy apparatus, which operated under the cover of @Jauna_Vienotiba, will do everything to slow down development.

A couple of years in the life of an obedient civil servant; * implement a pointless project worth €3.1M - get promoted * take part in unauthorised support for the commercial activity of timber industrialists worth €49M - receive €19K in compensation https://t.co/QspyVYn904

Former State Chancellery Director Kronbergs' official declaration has been published - remuneration of €78,982 for 4.5 months of work in 2026!!! How is that possible with a monthly salary of €6,346? I call on @AndrisKulbergs to provide the public with information on whether, when Siliņa signed the agreement with Kronbergs on termination of civil service relations, he was also paid a severance allowance of 3 monthly salaries. On 14 May this year, KNAB detained Kronbergs in the criminal case of timber industrialists. Initially Siliņa suspended Kronbergs from office. According to what Kronbergs publicly told LSM, he wanted to resign immediately, but Siliņa persuaded him to think it over carefully. Later the two agreed on termination of civil service relations on 18 May and leaving office. If Kronbergs had left office at his own request as he originally wanted, he would not be entitled to any severance pay. But by signing the agreement, Siliņa showed "goodwill", which gives Kronbergs the opportunity, under Section 17, Paragraph 12.1, Point 3 of the Law on Remuneration of Officials and Employees of State and Local Government Institutions, to receive severance pay of 3 monthly salaries, i.e. more than €19 thousand!!! Court judgments in criminal cases on unlawful payment of benefits to departing employees include former LU rector Muižnieks, former Mārupe mayor Encs, and others. Perhaps in this case there would also be work for @prokuratura_LV regarding the agreement signed by Siliņa and Kronbergs. The shadow of suspicion is reinforced by the fact that in the State Chancellery's published salary lists for May 2026, the amounts paid to Kronbergs were not shown at all (a flagrant violation of the law). But VID published Kronbergs' official declaration submitted on 05.07 only 3 months later !!!, i.e. on the evening of 02.10. Furthermore, Andris Kulbergs and @MGruskevics, call to account those State Chancellery officials who regularly and grossly violate the law by not publishing the salaries paid to State Chancellery officials. It is a strange coincidence not to publish the list of remuneration paid by the State Chancellery precisely in the months when bonuses and cash prizes are paid to State Chancellery officials (e.g. December 2025). Also, salary lists are usually published with considerable delay. This is not appropriate for the State Chancellery as the centre of government.

I remember perfectly well how I (didn't) get on with finding out about officials' bonuses, supplementary payments and cash awards when this individual was the decision-maker at the State Chancellery. Just look how well a criminal process re-educates a person and leaves a footprint on his backside. https://t.co/stMttAtbOo

Maybe it’s time for a nationally important decision to close the border with Russia before the plague gets in? https://t.co/rEJViHYTGX

BREAKING: Amid a pneumonic plague outbreak in Russia, several Asian countries have tightened sanitary controls on their borders with Russia or on arrivals from there. 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstan imposed stricter sanitary and quarantine checks at every crossing: people, vehicles, and cargo. 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan stepped up sanitary and quarantine controls on its state border with Russia. 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan announced measures to stop the import of especially dangerous infections. 🇲🇳 Mongolia, according to some reports, put its border regions with Russia on heightened alert.
