From@Janis_ZalansThe elections are over! No long introductions. I understand those 42 who marked “Against” for Juris (194 for). With his professional and principled attitude, Juris has inevitably stepped on toes more than once. But the support of 194 voters clearly shows – there is a demand for change. I don't quite understand those 42 who marked “Against” for Kristiāna. Yet 193 votes “For” confirm that voters have appreciated her professionalism. I also understand Ivo's 46 “Against” (154 For) – for a person who, alongside working at the port, can also develop his hobby business and earn a living from it, there will always be some envious person. But Viesturs' 46 “Against” (193 For) are harder for me to understand. A person who, with his entrepreneurial skills, not only creates value but also directly adds to the state budget, in my opinion, deserves greater recognition. Sandra's 186 “For” (47 against) and the rise from 9th to 6th place is a very good confirmation that a person who does much of the work behind the scenes is noticed, appreciated, and acknowledged. Māris (166 for; 46 against) calmly said of the result: “We'll see.” Jānis (163 for; 46 against), smiling at the voters' trust, said: “Joy!” Kaspars (154 for, 56 against) commented briefly and concretely: “We'll fix it.” Einārs, receiving 144 “For” (57 against), clearly and unambiguously announced: “We'll keep working!” And, at the very end, me: 327 “For” and 53 “Against”. He he he... don't get your hopes up – I'm not disappearing anywhere! And not just me. This whole great team will keep working and is waiting for you to join too. Clichéd but sincere – I express my deepest gratitude to each of the 10,696 voters (1,414 in Kurzeme) who gave their vote to ASL. Roughly a quarter of all voters in Kurzeme supported me in particular – I truly appreciate that. Meanwhile, about one twenty-sixth did not support me – I appreciate that too. Democracy is not only about “For” votes. Criticism, doubts, and “Against” are also part of the conversation. So to those who did not support me, my invitation for the entire coming four-year term is – communicate with me. Write emails, call, send letters, tell me about problems, point out things that, in your opinion, need to be changed or improved. I will try to address them as much as I can. The most important thing I want to say right now is quite simple: Please, communicate. I have no intention of disappearing! In conclusion, thanks again to the whole ASL Kurzeme team! Inconvenient for power – needed for Latvia!

From@jarinovskaEdgars Rinkēvičs's political choice is incomprehensible to me. Why did he meet with Ainārs Šlesers and his party? Rinkēvičs holds an important state office, he is not a private person who can meet with anyone. It does not benefit Latvia's security. https://t.co/uWpFVDbxNW

From@Heinrih5So there is no hoax, the first thing we expect from the United List @Edgars_T and @AndrisKulbergs is the repeal of the “climate” laws and the planned CO2 taxes on heating and fuel, as they promised while in opposition. Then we will move on to liquidating SIF, reducing heat tariffs, and other promises. https://t.co/p5egT2Fgm4

Rosļikovs' bold promises about returning from hospitable Belarus on 4 October have evaporated as if they had never been, the carnations prepared by his party comrades have withered... Safer, however, to stick to the dodging tactic, as his like-minded friend Stepaņenko knows well :)
Who should be entrusted with forming the next government? Today, President Edgars Rinkēvičs began consultations with the political forces elected to the 15th Saeima. After listening to all parties, the president will make an announcement already tomorrow. Most likely, forming the government will be entrusted to the leader of the election winner “United List”, the current Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs. 🖥️ https://t.co/93kJdRtbOf
@Ugislapins @mansviedoklis1 @MartinsKriekis That is a side effect of democracy, because if I had a party and only took in those I personally like, my party would have max 1%
From@Ugislapins@E_Stendzenieks @mansviedoklis1 @MartinsKriekis Actually, your party’s composition is veryyy democratic! You can find all sorts there — from Krauklis to Petkeviča! 😵💫
