16805@EditeJurjane @ltvdefacto @ivchix @AndrisKulbergs Where can one see the list of what journalists may or may not be interested in?
From@EditeJurjane@OttoOzols @ltvdefacto @ivchix @AndrisKulbergs The main point is that a journalist does not have to count the Prime Minister's hours and minutes if the Prime Minister works 24/7 and does his job. Let this JV minion count his own hours.

From@janisdombravaUpon taking office, the Border Guard had full visibility via cameras of only ~3% of the total length of the Latvia-Belarus border. After a stricter conversation in July, everything has changed for the better. When I became minister, I found that despite video surveillance cameras having already been installed along many kilometers of the border, the Border Guard still did not have access to the cameras. As recently as June, the Border Guard saw only ~5 kilometers of the entire BLR-LAT border. I had to speak more firmly, and within two weeks the Border Guard was given visibility over 108 kilometers of the LAT-BLR border. Currently, cooperation with LVRTC looks good. Visibility of the remaining kilometers will also be provided at a much faster pace than previously planned. Why wasn't this done sooner? Let others judge that; I will focus my time on strengthening our national security and eliminating inefficiency and waste in the interior affairs sector. If there is an opportunity to remain in office, I will be able to report in the coming months on the completion of camera installation work on the LAT-BLR border. However, we will most likely implement a few additional projects so that the adversary cannot approach unnoticed.

I am still an optimist. Just 7 years ago support was only slightly above 25%, now already 33%.

@CardinalisRavus And also a question—why the the heck should CSDD store payments for the last 18 years?

@DievaSuns Good day! Aivars Aksenoks is not a NA member.
From@DievaSunsA fabulous merganser. That was outsourced, so all my papers are clean. Moral responsibility has already been abolished. I foresee that soon NA groups will start in unison to wash their members white and fluffy. https://t.co/rOk8cO8TV9

“This is a political nursing home.” Kulbergs sharply criticizes the management of state enterprises
❗️ “In these circumstances, I do not see the possibility for the CSDD board to continue working, therefore I called on all board members to resign,” emphasizes Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis. “This morning I had invited the CSDD council and board in full to a meeting. Before the meeting, I received a letter from the CSDD council about resigning from their positions, and in a conversation with CSDD officials I informed that in these circumstances I do not see the possibility for the board to continue working, therefore I called on all board members to resign. I have initiated an official investigation, which must continue in an expedited manner to determine all circumstances and those responsible in connection with the cyberattack and the massive data leak. This also includes clarifying the situation regarding the CSDD contract with TET for the provision of cybersecurity services, which monthly costs CSDD a large sum of money. Throughout this process, the essential task is to ensure continuity of CSDD operations, data security, and restore the reputation of CSDD as a significant enterprise. And both CSDD and https://t.co/ef49CfXXIL are tasked with explaining to the public what people who are CSDD clients need to do to ensure their data is safe.” Photo: CSDD
@EditeJurjane @ltvdefacto @ivchix @AndrisKulbergs So you have nothing to add on the main topic, you agree with what was written.
From@EditeJurjane@OttoOzols @ltvdefacto @ivchix @AndrisKulbergs Wait, so we still need to politely and respectfully cater to the journalists serving Vienotība?

In the 'Rail Baltica' issue, Latvia must take off the 'pink' or Briškens glasses and realistically assess what the state can build👇
Here officials must answer criminally for what they have done, and then maybe Graf's excellent corporate governance inserts will finally feel that there are no 'sacred cows'. The question is only how to measure material losses - possibly clients will start demanding compensation. https://t.co/xlRVdN9pCc
From@SaulisVarpinsThis is not only about resignation, this is about criminal liability. Article 197 of the Criminal Law provides for criminal liability for negligence, Article 319 for inaction of a public official. Both articles require significant harm, and the leak of personal data of 1.2 million people cannot be insignificant both overall and with respect to each member of society. If @Valsts_policija could see significant harm in @elnormous's actions, then there should have been processes long ago. Every member of society from these 1.2 million who believes that significant harm has been caused to them by the failure to protect data is to be recognized as a victim. President A. Bērziņš after the Zolitude tragedy in 2013 said that we live in an amorphous system where no one is responsible for anything. It is already 2026 and are we really going to continue in the same spirit?

Maybe you will finally talk with your own JV party leaders and learn all the info — whoever asks this question gets answers.... all the answers and explanation have already been provided. Start finally talking inside JV, otherwise it is unclear whether anyone at all controls the party for you, or everyone is going solo.
From@AndrejsJudinsWith the government's arguments, rejecting the prosecutor's protest in the wood processors' case, one still cannot become acquainted. @AndrisKulbergs expects that the info will be provided by @prokuratura_LV. The prosecutor states that he cannot do it because it is not clear what is confidential in the government's answer. Prime Minister, what is there to hide? https://t.co/xRNpT4kB7z
