From@maris_mezals🟥VIENOTĪBA 15 YEARS IN POWER: POROUS BORDER, POROUS STATE DATA SYSTEMS - THERE IS YOUR “SAFE LATVIA” RESULT! Are all these really just INNOCENT coincidences and COINCIDENCES? For 15 years, Latvia has been ruled by the Vienotība regime. During this time, state IT systems were built for hundreds of millions, million-euro procurements were distributed, and an “inner circle” environment was created in which investigators now have to investigate cartel and corruption schemes. And now we see the consequences of this Vienotība: ❌ State IT procurements - criminal proceedings and arrests. ❌ “Latvijas Valsts meži” - hacked. ❌ CSDD - personal information of 1.2 million people hacked. WHERE IS SECURITY? Mr. President, it is not enough to find one scapegoat from CSDD, Aksenoks, and pretend that solves the problem. The public has the right to demand accountability for the entire system that was built over the years under Vienotība. You yourself have been an official in this power system for many years. So call things by their true names and demand not only Aksenoks’ but also VIENOTĪBA REGIME’S POLITICAL RESPONSIBILITY! The people do not need one scapegoat Aksenoks. The people need an answer - WHO WILL ANSWER FOR OUR SECURITY?

The security of the Saeima elections is ensured by Latvian State Forests, TET and LMT. LVM got hacked themselves, in the CSDD case TET as a service provider failed to protect the data. Now all that remains is to wait what LMT will surprise us with. Maybe now in that purchase affair they will be able to beat the price down substantially?
@inesevoika @KristopansVilis 'But later we supervised the privatization of Latvian Shipping Company', Inese Voika told LETA. 'So that everything is pzc čotka', she stressed.
From@inesevoikaMr. Krištopans, again missing. We founded Delna even before you became prime minister. It was financed by George Soros, members, and donors, later also by the US and other Western governments, but fortunately that did not prevent your ministers Birkavs and Labucka from cooperating with Delna. Even before you, in the Krasts government, the Minister of Justice Rasnačs invited Delna to work in the Corruption Prevention Council. After that, PM Bērziņš listened to Delna's proposals and we worked on new anti-corruption laws, including on KNAB. Surely you would have found a way to cooperate with us if your government had not had such short days. State funding never determined Delna's activities. We brought exports to the country by attracting money from abroad. Similar to Providus.

From@DievaSunsThe resignation of boards and councils will in no way improve the country's image. Today there must be a criminal process to establish those responsible for this crime. Latvia's Criminal Law provides for liability for negligence of a state official in Article 319. https://t.co/I9Ezz9yIn4

From@atis_svinkaIceland is again moving closer to the European Union. On August 29, a referendum will be held in Iceland on resuming EU accession talks. In Brussels, a positive result is also seen as a possible impetus for a broader enlargement process with Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine and Moldova. Iceland's and Montenegro's progress could also help overcome resistance in those EU member states where parts of society are concerned about the economic impact of enlargement. But this is a bigger issue than the membership of five countries in the EU. Is the geopolitical situation finally forcing Europe to think of itself again as a political union, not just a common market? Iceland, Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine and Moldova would make the EU larger and geopolitically stronger. However, enlargement must be accompanied by the next step, closer cooperation in defense, energy, infrastructure projects and the development of common European financial instruments. For a united, strong and secure Europe!

From@Marchellito@Lato_Lapsa And TET took the subordinates, where Ceruss again appears. @AndrisKulbergs should be asked to review all state and municipal contracts - who is generally responsible for IT security and whether similar subcontracting schemes also appear there - then security is probably the same.

From@0808IvetaWhat was the outcome of the authorization vulnerability in the CSDD vehicle and driver registry system discovered in 2018? With a lengthy criminal process against a responsible and honest whistleblower, rather than against the system's security problems. ⬇️ https://t.co/sTvipCTmvh

From@ltvzinasThe board of the Road Traffic Safety Directorate has submitted a letter to Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis (JV) regarding resignation, while the minister has also called on all CSDD board members to step down, Kozlovskis told journalists on Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, the minister had invited the CSDD board and leadership in full to a meeting. Before the meeting, the board had submitted a letter of resignation, but in a conversation with CSDD officials, Kozlovskis stated that he does not see a possibility for the board to continue working under the current circumstances, and therefore called on all board members to resign as well.

From@maris_sprudsThe CSDD data leak once again proves that: Huge official salaries do not ensure the work of a decent and careful manager; Job competitions are a manipulative fiction, in which members who have achieved nothing in the private sector rotate in circles; Where Unity (its member Aksenoks) is, there is s**t.
