As a large taxpayer, it is important to me that these lombard bond interest rates are not paid from taxpayers' money. Those who were ready to take risks and invest in such junk securities must also take responsibility. Until @AndrisKulbergs started addressing this issue, the situation was absurd: AB bonds had lombard rates, but guarantees like state-issued bonds. Those who took the risk must answer for it, not me with my tax payments.

Not necessarily. At the moment when the state is out or 25%+1 and the debt is restructured, I wouldn't be surprised that everything will be 📈. For creditors the choice is actually between very bad (lose everything) and risky. Either lose 330m (50m state), or take the risk (but have to put in own capital) — ergo the new business plan. But the state, under any scenario, will lose... theoretically, eventually with those 25% you can exit... but in the medium term, they will pay far too much for those 25%.

@Chapis Holding the shares, you will lose billions more.

These are truly IMPRESSIVE data. Can you imagine that the state spends LESS on IT procurement per year than on NGOs!?!?! It is known that 202 million were gifted to NGOs in grants last year + there is also various “economic activity” and “other income”. In other words, does the state spend less on IT sector procurement than it gives away or buys without tenders from NGOs? @AndrisKulbergs

Current events in Seutā, and our state president E. Rinkēvičs is spineless, saying that we must give up without a fight; that is not for us, the Latvian state was won through struggle, and to preserve it we must defend our values! #LatvijaLatviešiem #AustrisStankevics https://t.co/wOHHd06VIR

A capital success story. Imagine YOU own 100% of a company to which you have lent ~50k (bonds) + ~30k (loan). Someone comes to you and says: forget that money, you will never see it, BUT, if you are ready to 'scrounge up' another ~30k, now you will own only ¼ + 1 share of the company.. A real success story. Well done boys.. 🤝💪

✈️ The private sector believes in our plan for airBaltic to continue flying and growing! airBaltic bondholders have supported the company's proposal to capitalize interest payments. This means the company can retain more cash for daily operations and continue implementing the stabilization plan. This is a significant step demonstrating private investors' readiness to engage in airBaltic's future solution. The state has done its part – now it is important that private capital also takes responsibility. 🇱🇻 Our goal is clear – a financially stable, competitive airBaltic that continues to provide strategically important connectivity for Latvia.

🎥 Why is vocational education important for Latvia's economy? Juris Viļums in conversation with United List's Riga electoral district candidate Jānis Nipers on one of the most important issues for Latvia's growth – vocational education and specialists capable of working with new and modern technologies. For the economy to grow, Latvia needs not only investments and ideas, but also people with knowledge and skills to implement them. That is why vocational education must be developed and adapted to what the labour market will need tomorrow. 🇱🇻 Latvia – we have a solution! in October – list No. 7. #APVIENOTAISSARAKSTS #MumsIrRisinājums #KulbergsIrRisinājums #LatvijaMumsIrRisinājums #RīgaMumsIrRisinājums #7Saraksts #SaeimasVēlēšanas2026

@AivarsOzo Wake up, wake up. Don Juan also said that a true soldier cuts, stabs, and shoots to the end even in a lost battle. In your case it's 'spit, hiss, slap and scratch', but still respectable. Also remind Raudseps about that September 3 tweet, otherwise I am always the first to rush.

Not everything has already happened. The fulfillment of a big dream still has to be earned. 'In October, Šlesers will meet with Putin' 'The significance of such a meeting is evidenced by the fact that very serious people are involved in its organization.' https://t.co/MtG3prbKyq https://t.co/Rno2J26edZ

Rinkēvičs, Meistere and juģini today gaze with joyful surprise at their inspirers in the East, who sentenced Lev Shlosberg of the Yabloko party to 11 years behind bars for a wrong opinion, and chirp to themselves - hehe, look, it turns out, you can!

And all this breed of office-lickers and propagandists will, to the last one, stare in amazement and pretend not to understand that it is precisely they, hand in hand with their masters and true beneficiaries, who have raised and propped up this rating. https://t.co/NAzQQh8jE1

The rating of Suverēnā Vara is both unsurprising and very saddening.

So - obvious and clear - @AndrisKulbergs, @EdvardsSmiltens @Apvienotais_ essentially the current government core have broken the law, lied, squandered state funds for private needs, @KNABinforme once again demonstrated clinical fear of the ruling elite and, frightened, pretended nothing happened. But here some think that nothing really happened and the blame should be shifted to journalists who dared to ask Kulberg's excellency questions that his highness found uncomfortable. And how are we different from Putlerland, where journalists must be put in their place for wrong questions?

Very weak @ltvdefacto piece about @Apvienotais_ and @AndrisKulbergs violations when meeting with residents in Liepāja. Nothing sensational. Not even any investigative journalism - no amounts wasted or hourly rates calculated that were spent inappropriately. You can do better.

A Latvian in his own land cannot receive services in the Latvian language! @lindberga22 Thus slowly and gradually the Latvian language is being destroyed in its own land. Slowly and gradually Latvia is filling with strangers. And not some day will come when one no longer feels at home in Latvia, but that day has already arrived! The ruling politicians are unable to protect our nation, state, and language. We will write complaints about all violations to the relevant institutions. But if you want real change, on October 3 choose the 12th list - 'Austošā Saule Latvijai'. Not immigration control, but reducing the number of immigrants!
