I am afraid that the elections will end with a government of Ainārs and Jūlija. Therefore, no matter what conservatives or liberals each of us are. Enough fighting each other. If we can agree that the Kremlin is an aggressor and a threat. We will handle the rest. Unless we only want to watch Ainārs and Jūlija.

Why not? And what is it? https://t.co/pNex1j5q9U If 'the lobby wasn't done in time', then it is 'bad'. You cannot dismiss state affairs with lobbies. There must be logic, clear justification, and error in lobbying.

@jureits @LVceli @skreine .. but here in the title itself is TEN-T and TEN-T network does not include a highway to Latgale. TEN-T gives priority to financing and, yes, the lobby wasn't done in time for it to be included.

Finally, decisions are being made about airBaltic. But for now they are being made by creditors, not the government. Bondholders have agreed to defer part of interest payments and are waiting for government action. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister already describes the situation as effectively the 'last chance' to save airBaltic. The government is considering additional purchase of airBaltic bonds, capitalization of existing bonds, and extension of the state loan term. But is the whole government ready to stand behind these decisions? Will we again see indecisiveness and hear that everything is now in the hands of the Saeima? In my opinion, the main question is not whether to give airBaltic more money. The question is, what is the state's final goal? What airBaltic do we want to preserve? What connectivity of Latvia do we want after 5, 10, and 20 years? What will today's decisions leave for future generations? Before talking about further funding, the public should know the government's strategy, namely how the state is ready to adapt its requirements in the letter of expectation, what requirements it will set in the shareholder agreement, and where compromises with creditors and potential investors are possible. And only then can the financial questions be answered: how much capital is still needed, by what date, and under what conditions. airBaltic is not just a company for Latvia. It is part of our economic infrastructure and connectivity with Europe and the world. That is why the government now needs not another short-term cash injection, but a clear final goal and the courage to make decisions.

Should this be understood that AS's efforts to invite the Progresīvie mankurts into its government were not a coincidence and that inside AS not everyone is thrilled about Mākoņtēvs's instruction to form a government with his business partner Ainārs?

Nuclear power plants need very large initial investments, and the biggest cost increase is for political reasons. Large delays in deliberation processes are very common. Money is spent, interest keeps running, but there is no income. Once it is launched, only pluses follow. 60, but in reality 100 years. So it is worth it. Arabs don't get carried away with meetings, they build without delay, and there is only the positive side. Europe used to be like that too. And then the culture of deliberation, or meetings, arrived. That is the difference.

@guntarsv I would like to see what would happen once it acquired more concrete form somewhere by the sea. Such a "cultural canon landscape" would really be something else. Besides, nuclear power seems an expensive venture if it is only 1 and provides stability more weakly than gas (currently, say in Romania it doesn't work).

The superior of the NBS commander is not the political leadership of the Ministry of Defence. The situation, in which the ministry has delayed the purchase of necessary ammunition for interceptor drones, points to the toxicity of the Progressives and confirms the @austsaule programme point, which provides for the NBS commander's independence from the ministry's political leadership and accountability to the Saeima.

Today bondholders supported interest capitalization. But the main thing is the business plan that is now being pushed to the Saeima: The state plans to convert €50 million in bonds into capital = effectively write them off to zero. Private creditors who have already received over €110 million in interest receive up to €125 million of debt back. The state quietly “gifts” €50 million to private creditors through the back door, while the taxpayer loses everything. @Krisjanis_K That is our country's second problem. Repeat elections are not forbidden. But they are almost unrealistic.

Today they don't see, tomorrow eyesight returns and they see:)) Well, that's what the story is about - you can't be against fascist Russia together with Šlesers, on whom the Russians have a file the size of Baron's Songs... So nothing terrible will happen from the so-called hung parliament. No one has forbidden repeat elections:)

@AtlasDynam1cs I'm filtering. And I'm trying to point out that the crap can be much bigger.

You really don't filter the booth? The liberal scum is exactly hand in hand with Kremlin narratives, propping up the Russian language, which Lāce pushed through the Ministry of Culture by 'integrating illegal immigrants' into Latvia through the Russian language. Sprūda's sabotage against the NBS. It was KustībaPar that opposed banning the St. George ribbons, and Pavļuts openly called the smokehouse a monument to the liberators of Riga. It was the progressives who were against the fence on the Eastern border. Finally, hatred of Latvian parties, of the Latvian language, culture and identity, turning the country into a small Russian and Indian dumpster. The liberal scum's slimy union with Shleser is visible only to a fool.

@DienvidZiemelis I am talking about Rail Baltica. In the sense that it is currently planned..

@Chapis I very specifically mentioned Intermarium. Do you think that a railway line connecting the Baltic Sea with the Black Sea - also through Latvian ports - would not make sense? If afterwards they would add the Mediterranean Sea to the existing infrastructure?

@DienvidZiemelis What prevents you from transporting cargo right now? Did you know that, for example, tanks are already being moved from Poland to Latvia? Did you know that moving cargo by rail 'makes sense' only when point A—>B is at least ~700 km? And not parallel to the sea? https://t.co/jWYHzxUgly

@Chapis It's hard to transport very large cargo by airplanes. Well, there is an option, of course, which is Šlesers' port, but from north to south that connectivity is so-so. Ideally, an Intermarium connection could be formed, but Šlesers doesn't care. His Russian buddies would provide for him.

Seeing the video, before I read the text, I thought that the pro-Bolsheviks had written a complaint about @StankevicsA. Somehow Rinkēvičs' pompous, grimly oppressive speech in Aglona probably psychologically tunes one to think that under the current regime anything is possible https://t.co/6antcfvZVB

Nothing is more expensive in this country than ‘connectivity’. The service airBaltic provides is exactly that – connectivity, and it is an indisputable fact that airBaltic cannot provide it without systematic, constant state support. Normally it would seem that one problem child is enough, but no — we need another one. A 50 times bigger problem that will give us ‘connectivity’. Of course, again at taxpayers' expense and among other things would compete with airBaltic.. 🤦‍♂️ Video: Question to Prime Minister Siliņa, why do we need Rail Baltica

@Chapis “Strategically important connectivity” there probably means between the state budget and aircraft lessors + bank accounts of some aviation officials 🫣😁 because if airBaltic didn't exist at all, nothing would change for anyone anywhere, well maybe we wouldn't have to read success stories once every six months
