This weekend we will be available and meet with voters. We will not use administrative resources and will not spend a cent from taxpayers' money.

Where this weekend can you check whether Finance Minister Māris Kučinskis is telling fibs in an interview to the court newspaper @DienaLv: “They look so hostile in those pre-election tents.” https://t.co/rEMZwve0MU

How was it with those promises in April this year that they would for sure repay by the end of August? With such a plan as mentioned in the article, the state money for airBaltic will exceed what Gauss demanded from the state as a commitment for the IPO... Good that we live in the internet age and all this bravado from Švinka and Martinovs is publicly available. They both lied and messed up. https://t.co/2W6ymPCHiT

@KasparsZ2 @ararags If a business operator complies with the requirements prescribed by regulatory enactments, he will not be liable for the damage caused. However, if the violation is committed intentionally or in violation of the established business procedure, he will be liable for the damage caused.

@GirtsKarnitis No, it won't. We won't drip anything. We'll do everything possible so that AB flies and the most important decisions are made today and the Saeima has to adopt them next week.

@AndrisKulbergs As I understand, that half-alive AirBaltic will be dripped a little bit until the elections, so that it doesn't die, but also not to unnecessarily irritate voters. After the elections we will finally find out how much that pleasure will cost us.

@KasparsZ2 @ararags No one plans to criminalize 'lawful economic activity', as the letter writer calls it. The deputies voted against the proposal to provide that if a person carries out economic activity, they are automatically exempted from criminal liability for causing damage to the environment.

Only the Ilyichs are financed by the German general staff; the Igoreviches must settle for dirtier money. https://t.co/2Fqmt8kphs

In the city, PRO-hostile crows caw (and this crow is not named @JurgisLiepnieks) that @suvajevs's excitement in the woodworkers' case is closely linked to the appearance of an overpriced central apartment in the property of the new Lenin's wife. The little wife is a novice doctor, so her own savings could hardly be to blame here...😎 Unrelated. Read @PietiekPortals articles about such a Mr. Ramoliņš. Everything will become clear.😈

@wannax_j The question of the status of animals in civil law is only one of the issues that @Saeimas_JK is working on. Information about the adopted amendments and active draft laws aimed at protecting human rights and, for example, preventing violence is publicly available.

@AndrejsJudins What are you doing? Respectful treatment of people already achieved?

Here will be the whole truth about unpurchased charges for anti-drone systems during Defense Minister Sprūds' tenure. Yesterday, during my visit to the Sēlija training ground, I spoke directly with an NBS and a 20-year experienced explosives expert. It is unimaginable stupidity to make soldiers manually fill drones with explosives – it requires training every drone operator in the use of explosives and significantly increases the risk to lives.

The Progressives' inability to take even part of the responsibility for the sectors they once led is irritating. This morning's interview with the leader of the Progressives, Šuvajevs, on Rīta Panorāma is a good example of that. airBaltic? The current government allegedly hasn't done enough in two months. Moreover, the Prime Minister isn't using the “right” words, so, one can conclude, the transport minister was doing so until then, when the Progressives led that ministry. Defense? There everyone is allegedly lying about what hasn't been done. And on top of everything – New Unity allegedly called for speaking badly about the Progressives, and Šuvajevs claims to have reliable information about that. I understand that in politics it is very convenient to take credit for all the good that happened while you were in government, and to explain about the problems that others caused them or that the new government hasn't solved them now. However, the voter also understands that two months in opposition cannot erase almost three years in government.

@JnisVanags3 We won't get there. Our foundations of civil law are found in Roman law; the Latvian Civil Code was adopted in 1937. Although it has not lost its significance and value, today it is important to recognize the special status of animals.

@AndrejsJudins OK. But if animals acquire rights, responsibility also appears. That way we'll reach the tsarist-era cases when cats were publicly hanged for stolen port warehouses.

@DievaSuns I want to see exactly the same thing👌 In any company, when leadership changes, the first months go by just to understand what the problems are. With public administration it is even more complicated. I agree that point 1 is too much. But it is being cut non-stop, I know, I am there.

@CerinsAivis I want to see 3 points: 1. Problem 2. Plan to fix 3. Solution/result. So far only point 1 appears everywhere.

The government may review and revoke its decisions if they were made based on misleading information. A decision affecting the operation of a state-owned capital company may also be permissible - but it requires a legal and factual basis. Misleading does not create such a basis.

What do you think - why did comrade Šuvajevs for weeks have something to say every day about timber industry workers, but about his progressive comrade Sprūds, who could really use the comrades' support now, he is quiet, quiet...? https://t.co/aNPSEhHKUZ
