Solvita Gulbe is a specialist with long-term experience in public administration and concludes that it cannot continue like this. The rules must be changed! https://t.co/canwFDWIQ4
From@partijaMMNSolvita Gulbe on public administration costs. Latvia's public administration is too expensive, overstaffed and inefficient. Taxpayers will not be able to support such a large state apparatus for much longer - an immediate overhaul is needed and every position and every spent cent must be reviewed. https://t.co/B1rcFxYxn9

To lie - deliberately say, write something untrue (usually to deceive someone). Not nice, Mr. Prime Minister! Not nice. You can certainly do better. https://t.co/HuzWec1rKj https://t.co/ghEPHZSDDQ
From@AndrisKulbergsI do not deny the importance of such a question, I fully respect such a desire, because the public needs to know. I just feel strange that in the program no questions are asked at all about the priorities of the whole society: No.1 HEALTH, No.2 COST OF LIVING, No.3 ECONOMY, No.4 SECURITY, No.5 EDUCATION, and above all about the budget, deficit, and aligning revenues with expenditures. The first and only question was asked about the Istanbul Convention. Thank you for inviting me as the first, and good luck with the next prime minister candidates.

GOLDEN VISAS OR A TROJAN HORSE FOR COPPERS
@PeterisJur Currently the main weak point is that for sharing a -20 euro/MWh price reduction from the market price must be applied. In other words, sharing is less advantageous than buying at the market price.
From@PeterisJur@martinsstals Very nice that you already have energy communities. You will also be able to see the weak points.

From@E_StendzenieksDon't provoke me. Visiting, in a foreign country, absolutely without respect for local culture, laws, norms and order – that is the attitude of low-ranking immigrants everywhere, they already know upon arrival that the laws are not written for them. They don't accept local culture, they introduce their own. There is absolutely no example, no case, no country where a different scenario has occurred. No country, city or district that has become safer, more developed, more prosperous, cleaner, tidier and nicer. The only thing to do - either go in the direction of London, Paris, Stockholm, Brussels and Berlin, or in the direction of Poland. Proactively, learning from the sad experience of all other countries, keep society alert and form in them the feeling that there will be no little Mumbai here. And my post is about everything in general – breaking laws, trading IDs, systemic violations in all areas, attitude towards the country that has hosted you.

From@ZelenskyyUaToday in the Odesa region, the Russians once again destroyed an ordinary passenger train locomotive with a jet-powered drone. There were 340 people on the train. And whoever was operating that drone certainly could not have been unaware that the target was entirely civilian. As of now, unfortunately, we know that the locomotive engineer and his assistant were killed in the strike. My condolences to their families and loved ones. There were also strikes overnight in 11 regions – the Russians used more than 130 attack drones. Every day, the Russians strike ordinary people’s lives simply for the sake of terror. And unfortunately, far from every such attack receives a strong response from the world. More air defense support and more pressure on Russia are needed if the world is serious about stopping this war in Europe.

From@EUvsDisinfoRussia continues its efforts to reshape the narrative about the origins of the war. On 24 February 2022, Putin launched an unprovoked, unjustified, and illegal full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This is not a war Russia was ‘compelled’ to fight. It is a war Russia chose to start.
