The Kremlin and its ideology did not arise yesterday and will not end with the change of a single ruler. Russian imperialism and the desire to impose its cultural space on neighboring peoples has existed for centuries - regardless of who sits in the Kremlin at the time. The question is not about individual artists' personal attitudes toward the regime, but about the preservation of a global Russian cultural and language dominance in Latvia's public space.
