@aldis_voitenko 51. We plus those from other parties, for whom the state's interests are more important than their own party's interests.

@AlvisHermanis1 Question - how many seats must be represented in the Saeima to get this through???

Here is the answer - 270,526.48 https://t.co/VWEEkS7tYP https://t.co/z0wLFCcvd8

One no longer hears anything about reducing state administration spending, but it would be interesting to know how much taxpayers pay for the elite stewing in their own juice at the 'Lampa' festival.

🇱🇻🇺🇦 Latvia continues to stand by Ukraine. New Unity's Minister of Foreign Affairs @Braze_Baiba met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv to discuss continued support for Ukraine, cooperation in defence, and Ukraine's progress towards EU membership. As Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky especially thanked Baiba Braže for her visit to Kyiv, stressing that in such circumstances the presence of partners in Ukraine is particularly important. This is a clear demonstration of Latvia's unwavering support for Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇱🇻 Photo: Office of the President of Ukraine

In the battle of symbols, not only the name of the Young Latvians has been tarnished, but also the image of the Riga Latvian Society House. I do not think this is happening by chance - the Russifiers are aiming precisely. https://t.co/L3IDQofZ7Z

🏛️ THE PINNACLE OF DOUBLE-THINK - HAS THE RIGA LATVIAN SOCIETY HOUSE BECOME A PLATFORM FOR THE RUSSIFICATION BUSINESS? Where have the mission and backbone of the first Latvian national organization gone? 🇱🇻 While society speaks out for giving up the Russian language in the public space, the Riga Latvian Society House on Merķeļa Street has found a way to quietly profit at this expense. Outwardly, the RLB leadership speaks beautifully about its great history and importance in protecting Latvian culture. But behind this facade of patriotism hide cowardice and submission to Russianness as soon as financial gain appears. The society itself timidly does not advertise these events on its official website, but they are freely available on Biļešu Serviss and Biļešu Paradīze platforms. In the near future, an extensive repertoire in the official language of the Russian Federation is planned in the cradle of Latvian culture: 🎭 🇷🇺 'Lost Stories / Потерянные истории' 🎭 🇷🇺 'Brodsky. Heartbeat / Бродский. Сердцебиение' 🎭 🇷🇺 'Love That Won't Let Go / Любовь, которая не отпускает' 🎭 🇷🇺 Musical comedy 'Charlie's Aunt' ('Здравствуйте, я ваша тетя!') 🎭 🇷🇺 Children's play 'Cipollino's New Year Adventures' The leadership of the society makes excuses and tells fairy tales about ''tenant loyalty checks''. What real loyalty to the Latvian state can foreign producers and companies registered in Cypriot offshore zones guarantee? For the RLB leadership money doesn't stink - the main thing is to collect rent, promoting bilingualism, Russification, and division of society at a time when national unity is needed❗️ 🇱🇻 💪 This is not ordinary commercial activity. It is a slap in the face to the ideals for which this house was built. If the society does not see a problem with such content, why does it timidly hide these performances from its website? Because they themselves understand - it is unethical and immoral. Latvian society has the right to demand accountability from structures that use our historical heritage contrary to the priorities of the state language and security. What is your opinion on such a cowardly compromise with conscience? Should such hidden business in a Latvian house be put to an end? 💬 Express your opinion in comments and share this post! 📢👇#AtkrieviskoLatviju #RunāLatviski #RLB #NEsatiekamiesRLB #kreivholisms #NacionālāIdentitāte #ValstsValoda @KM_kultura @_vvc

Today, during a regional visit 🇱🇻 in Pūre, I visited the company “Puratos Latvia”, getting acquainted with the production facility and the company's everyday work. “Puratos” creates and develops solutions for bread, confectionery, and chocolate producers in Latvia, combining innovation, ✅ quality, and sustainable production. 🇱🇻 Latvia's food industry has the potential to grow, create high value-added products, and successfully compete in foreign markets, which the company also successfully realizes. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture's task is to create an environment where our producers can develop, invest, and become increasingly competitive. 🤝 Thank you to the “Puratos Latvia” team for the reception, open conversation, and the opportunity to see production up close!

@Mikipele6 @Atiskrauze73 Georg, change the record, it's already stuck! Found yourself a coalition builder! Better find NA's army procurement for 220 million euros.

@maris_mezals @Atiskrauze73 And after pushing such texts, you still wonder why your party is called pro-Russian? And don't forget to put next to this tweet your promised beloved constructed daily picture with Dzintars, because that will greatly enhance your party's chances of forming a coalition with Latvian parties.

Who wrote that he needs to run? Do you also need a special Latvian translation?!

@maris_mezals @Atiskraze73 Generally the minister doesn't have to run after criminals, but your list of five points is just as empty and tendentious as your party. We only know to shout.

@andrisg15 Our list is not about Kulbergs; the MMN list is to unite people with common sense and get the electoral reform through.

@AlvisHermanis1 Name 10 Kulbergs in your list.

@IRezebergs @JolantaSk @EU_Eurostat The day before: https://t.co/kom7RcBUIt

In the healthcare 🩺 sector, there is an indicator „healthy life expectancy” – which shows how many years a person could on average live in good health, i.e., without health impairments or disability that significantly limit daily life. The indicator is calculated by combining mortality statistics (how long people live) and population survey data on health status and limitations in daily activities. The EU typically uses the indicator Healthy Life Years (HLY), or healthy life years, based on people's responses about long-standing health limitations. This indicator shows the average age after which people live their remaining years with some chronic illness, functional limitations, or disability. That does not mean those years are necessarily years of serious illness – many people still live independently during this time, but their health status is worse than before. This indicator helps assess not only how long people live, but also what their quality of life is. So now, according to Eurostat's recently published data for 2024 (calculated with about a 1.5-year lag), in Latvia 🇱🇻 this indicator is now on average 52.5 years; for men – 51.1 years, and for women – 53.9 years. In all these breakdowns, Latvia is in last place among all 27 🇪🇺 EU countries, and in recent years Latvia's figures have even been sliding downwards 📉

❓ If you were offered today to invest your personal money in the airline airBaltic – would you do it? 💶 Would you believe that you would ever get this money back? 🤔 The state has already invested hundreds of millions of euros from taxpayers' pockets into airBaltic, but questions about the return still remain. 💸 💡 AINĀRS ŠLESERS offers a concrete proposal that could help not only pull airBaltic out of the hole, but also develop the entire Latvian tourism industry.

In June and July, the State Border Guard had to deter an average of a hundred attempts to enter illegally. On days when technical problems had appeared in Pāternieki, immigration pressure significantly decreased. It would be very good if the Belarusian authorities stopped supporting illegal immigrants, because in the end it harms Belarus itself. Soon even more extensive measures will be launched to stop illegal immigration. Explanation: Deterrence cases mean that illegal border crossing was not allowed. Persons did not remain in Latvia.

@JanisIkstens With the method proposed by MMN, he would have entered the Saeima as a non-partisan and would not have wasted energy trying to squeeze in and intrigue with all those party-losers.

Kulbergs entered the Saeima thanks to the current electoral system, the party alliance, and Pīlēna's initiative. https://t.co/obIWRBvce7

@tvverotajs democracy ABC: decisions are made by a mathematical majority of votes.

@AlvisHermanis1 If we had those 50 Kulbergs, each with their own vision of how things should be done, all the energy would go into mutual arguments.

@evita_purina @BaibaStrautmane LDDK participated in several EU programs. I remind that LDDK is not an ordinary organization, it is a confederation with official status and representation in EU and world organizations. LDDK has clearly stated that it can refuse any EU fund financing.

@AndrisKulbergs @BaibaStrautmane You are wrong about LDDK. Here is the state and EU co-financed four-year project of LDDK. Strengthening the organization's strategy and capacity, participation in working groups. https://t.co/Ks5qqcWUs9
