ZZS calls for the cancellation of the hospital reform. This is a national security issue both in Latvia's border regions and in Riga. Within a week we will publish a detailed justification with concrete facts, data, and calculations that will show why this reform must be cancelled and reviewed. The facts will speak for themselves. https://t.co/bPHOq6pn03

From@janisdombravaThe Ministry of the Interior proposes that the government suspend the operation of the Latvia-Belarus border crossing point 'Pāternieki'. The Ministry of the Interior is advancing the relevant amendments to guarantee the inviolability of the state, prevent threats to public order, create even more favorable conditions for the State Border Guard and other involved services to perform their duties in preventing illegal crossing of the state border, as well as optimize the resources available to the State Border Guard in crisis conditions.

To raise the party's low rating, NA's Interior Minister Dombrava calls on the government to close the border between Latvia and Belarus! Through this border checkpoint not only private individuals travel, but also trucks carrying unauthorized cargo also to Central Asia and China! The question arises whether closing this border crossing point will improve the security situation on the border, since illegal migrants do not cross the border through this border crossing point?! Illegal migrants will continue to cross the border in unauthorized places, cutting a hole or using ladders! I want to inform everyone that Lithuania does not plan to close border crossing points on the Lithuania–Belarus border! It looks like Latvia will once again support Lithuania's economy!

From@AndrisVelpsLatvia is currently being gradually flooded with masses of immigrants, and this process must be stopped immediately. The ruling politicians make excuses with momentary economic indicators, but the experience of European countries clearly shows - such a path destroys the social budget and the well-being of local residents. We are in a process whose consequences will be irreversible unless we immediately stop the inflow of immigrants from third countries.

CHILDREN ARE NOT BORN INTO BENEFITS (part one). Latvians are dying out, but the issue of the political demographic crisis has been made idiotic, reducing the birth of children to a discussion of the size of benefits. Money prizes are not a reason to have children. Benefits are a historically new mechanism. After their introduction, there have been more birth crises or decreases in the number of births than before. The mandatory aside – I am not against social support mechanisms that slow the decrease of wealth after the arrival of a child or children into the family, but other causes of couples' unwillingness to bring them into the world must be sought. Namely, only after a man and a woman have agreed on the longing for a child could economically rational “for” and “against” arguments be invoked, but if they are assessed as a priority, then we live in an upside-down value system where a child is not the result of virtuous love. For children to be born, in my opinion, we must start with the recognition of human nature, that is, the idea of our teleology (existing with a specific purpose), where one facet of an individual's existence is a natural desire to continue. This can be understood, suppressed, cultivated. By itself, such a realization does not bring one closer to starting a family, but founding it with such values helps preserve it. This is the only framework in which a happy family can exist. Other forms of relationships based outside this framework, in my opinion, are less durable, because the only points of the other party's attachment are pleasure, convenience, pleasant togetherness. Therefore they are not purposeful and resilient. If people are united only by selfish pleasure, even light crises will break them. In such relationships, an awareness of a common future is impossible. It is merely the use of another person, even if both parties want it. NGOs such as “Papardes zieds” are involved in shaping educational content, determining what to teach children as early as the age of eleven (5th grade). Unfortunately, children are not taught relationship formation oriented toward family life. This is avoided by eliminating virtue as a concept, reducing the topic of relationships only to sexuality or safe intercourse. I agree, health is important. However, the separation of sexual pleasure from the framework of strong relationships creates sexual promiscuity, negative relationship experiences, later regret, and difficult formation of family life. This is hedonism that objectifies the other party to the level of satisfying an instinct. Symptomatically, the number of underage (10–14 years) pregnant girls is increasing. This is addressed by handing out condoms to students, avoiding the consequences, although the real cause is a deficit of morality, and examples of relationship building are not taught. Additionally, the educational content normalizes sexual deviations, that is, homosexuality. This is absolutely incompatible with strengthening the institution of the family. So this is a deliberate ideology of childlessness that the state creates and strengthens. This is a small part of my prism of morality through which I assess the demographic crisis. I will continue the line of thought and conclusions in the next posts; some readers complain that there is no time for “long sheets”.
From@partijaMMNEdvarts Krusts on the reasons why children are not being born. The demographic problem cannot be bought — it lies in cultural and moral questions. Perhaps instead of studying genders and couriers, the state should study ways to still preserve Latvians in future generations? https://t.co/0cxqPyqWbK
