Seeing today's video from Spain, there is no other explanation than that their politicians are traitors to their people. Likewise, traitors to their people are those who support the economic refugee invasion also in Latvia. The State Police reminds that organising and holding a gathering is permitted only in the procedure prescribed by regulatory enactments, having previously coordinated it with the municipality. Organising an unsanctioned gathering is prohibited, and persons may be subject to administrative liability for failure to comply with regulatory requirements. ✅ The government has given the green light to the implementation of airBaltic's business plan. Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis emphasizes that airBaltic is strategically important for Latvia's international connectivity, economic development and growth. It states that a leading person of the association “Gribu palīdzēt bēgļiem” has been accused in a criminal proceeding related to the possible support of illegal crossing of the Latvian state border, and this criminal proceeding has not yet concluded. Given that the project implementation has not yet started, and no payments have been made within the project, the start of project implementation should be postponed until the final court ruling enters into force. I have decided to suspend the implementation of the project “Cultural Diversity Festival as a promoter of co-creation and integration” until the final court ruling in the relevant criminal proceeding enters into force. The total project amount is 99,954 euros. After the final court ruling enters into force, the ministry will re-evaluate all factual and legal circumstances and decide on the further implementation of the project.

About some changes in the State Police. I have received an explanation from the head of the South Kurzeme precinct indicating that it has not been regular practice to proactively test police officers with alcohol tests. Some things I have discussed with the State Police leadership: 1) An official investigation has been initiated against the management of the South Kurzeme precinct, which may result in changes in the precinct's leadership. 2) In the State Police, upon starting a work day, alcohol tests will be required, especially for officials who carry a weapon or drive service vehicles during duty. 3) Managers need to pay attention to subordinates. It will be necessary to refer individuals who might have problems with excessive alcohol consumption to in-depth checks, to timely prevent risks to the service and the person themselves. Honest police officers do excellent work every day ensuring public safety. Changes must be implemented so that a single drop of tar does not spoil the overall prestige of the police.
