From@MarisKucinskisReviewing budget expenditures allows us to understand which funds can be used more effectively, so ministries have been told—we know what you have “in your stomach”. We can no longer live like during Covid-19, when we simply scooped from the deficit and there was more money than ever https://t.co/SbUI1hyG0r

Kulbergs named the main condition for future coalition partners.
Kulbergs: We will choose as coalition partners those who agree to implement changes.
Kulbergs thinks a misunderstanding has occurred; he is not opposed to the film industry.
A referendum will be organized, the true purpose of which is to give AS deputies, who before the elections promised various groups (NGOs, congregations, etc.) to vote for the denunciation of the Istanbul Convention, an excuse not to vote. They will most likely spend around 2 million euros of taxpayers' money for this purpose.
Changes will not be comfortable for everyone! Kulbergs has an ironclad condition for the future coalition partners.
From@andrislovThe red professor has put on a mourning ribbon and asks whether the state budget is now the prime minister's private wallet. The reason for the tragedy is that @AndrisKulbergs does not want to impose a 3.5 percent levy on streaming platforms, which would bring about six hundred thousand euros a year to the National Film Centre's coffers. Six hundred thousand—for that sum in Riga you can buy a moderately unsuccessful documentary about a bureaucrat's soul and still have some left for coffee during seminar breaks.
