A couple of years in the life of an obedient civil servant; * implement a pointless project worth €3.1M - get promoted * take part in unauthorised support for the commercial activity of timber industrialists worth €49M - receive €19K in compensation https://t.co/QspyVYn904

Former State Chancellery Director Kronbergs' official declaration has been published - remuneration of €78,982 for 4.5 months of work in 2026!!! How is that possible with a monthly salary of €6,346? I call on @AndrisKulbergs to provide the public with information on whether, when Siliņa signed the agreement with Kronbergs on termination of civil service relations, he was also paid a severance allowance of 3 monthly salaries. On 14 May this year, KNAB detained Kronbergs in the criminal case of timber industrialists. Initially Siliņa suspended Kronbergs from office. According to what Kronbergs publicly told LSM, he wanted to resign immediately, but Siliņa persuaded him to think it over carefully. Later the two agreed on termination of civil service relations on 18 May and leaving office. If Kronbergs had left office at his own request as he originally wanted, he would not be entitled to any severance pay. But by signing the agreement, Siliņa showed "goodwill", which gives Kronbergs the opportunity, under Section 17, Paragraph 12.1, Point 3 of the Law on Remuneration of Officials and Employees of State and Local Government Institutions, to receive severance pay of 3 monthly salaries, i.e. more than €19 thousand!!! Court judgments in criminal cases on unlawful payment of benefits to departing employees include former LU rector Muižnieks, former Mārupe mayor Encs, and others. Perhaps in this case there would also be work for @prokuratura_LV regarding the agreement signed by Siliņa and Kronbergs. The shadow of suspicion is reinforced by the fact that in the State Chancellery's published salary lists for May 2026, the amounts paid to Kronbergs were not shown at all (a flagrant violation of the law). But VID published Kronbergs' official declaration submitted on 05.07 only 3 months later !!!, i.e. on the evening of 02.10. Furthermore, Andris Kulbergs and @MGruskevics, call to account those State Chancellery officials who regularly and grossly violate the law by not publishing the salaries paid to State Chancellery officials. It is a strange coincidence not to publish the list of remuneration paid by the State Chancellery precisely in the months when bonuses and cash prizes are paid to State Chancellery officials (e.g. December 2025). Also, salary lists are usually published with considerable delay. This is not appropriate for the State Chancellery as the centre of government.

I remember perfectly well how I (didn't) get on with finding out about officials' bonuses, supplementary payments and cash awards when this individual was the decision-maker at the State Chancellery. Just look how well a criminal process re-educates a person and leaves a footprint on his backside. https://t.co/stMttAtbOo

So there is no hoax, the first thing we expect from the United List @Edgars_T and @AndrisKulbergs is the repeal of the “climate” laws and the planned CO2 taxes on heating and fuel, as they promised while in opposition. Then we will move on to liquidating SIF, reducing heat tariffs, and other promises. https://t.co/p5egT2Fgm4

POST-ELECTION WORD Thank you to everyone who cast their vote for MMN so that we could be heard more. I am glad you voted according to your conscience, not for statistics-propped pillars. I thought for a long time about how to formulate the need to vote for a “mathematically discarded vote,” until I came to an analogy about love. For surely everyone has fallen in love with the “mathematically unattainable” and yet everyone has fought for it. Fortunately, in politics, with hard work everything is achievable, so we will not disappear but will form an ideological party that offers a right-wing vision, addressing all citizens of Latvia, not narrow demographic groups that secure power. Additionally, I must congratulate the United List on the most numerically impressive victory in Latvian history! I hope that outside the pre-election period they will not be ashamed to admit that part of the AS programme came from MMN. Even without being elected, we have managed to influence the political agenda. Yet after every party night comes a hangover morning, and for Kulberg it will be coalition-building, which for the first time in a long time can be formed from two parties. If AS calls itself nationally conservative, then there are not many choices – National Alliance. Red lines have not been drawn only against New Unity and the Progressives. In the near future we will see whether there will be an amnesty for mistakes and a continuation of the old course. It will be exciting to find out what dominates there – values or tactics. The United List result is phenomenal also in the context of pluses and minuses. I am not sure, but it may be the most crossed-out list, where voters struck through rather than gave pluses to 2/3 of the candidates. Knowing that AS was put together as a patchwork of several parties, the struggle for power may have caused an internal crossing-out campaign. As a result, the lesser-known were elected, thus avoiding the consequences of intrigues. Maybe I am wrong and this is a sign from the migrating voter of a credit of trust in AS, but not in every individual candidate. So to speak, “we are watching you.” Yet it is unequivocally clear that this is the merit of one person – Andris Kulbergs – the locomotive that pulled a carriage of strangers into the Saeima. Or the reason why MMN proposes changing the electoral system. We await government formation and budget planning. It will show how strong all the seams are there. P.S. And special thanks to everyone in Zemgale who supported me with pluses!
