From@ltvdefactoIn January, the National Botanical Garden was added to the Nature Conservation Agency, promising less bureaucracy and more efficient management. Kulbergs' parliamentary secretary caught in debt trap - what does his declaration reveal?
Declared debts of 9,402 euros for Kulbergs' parliamentary secretary
Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development Edgars Tavars (AS) has fully revoked the previous minister's decision on Preiļi municipality territorial planning, and partially on Bauska municipality territorial planning. https://t.co/YP7ayujqsv
AS stands on the path of backwardness. Minister Tavars revokes the decisions of previous minister Čudars, which recognized the restrictions imposed by Bauska and Preiļi on wind energy as unlawful. Municipalities that receive grants from the state (read: Riga and Pierīga) unreasonably restrict business, and the minister supports them. In this way, no businesses will soon be able to obtain operating permits https://t.co/Bu1VEtsgMz

Regarding the governance of state-owned companies... it must be fundamentally changed in the next government. All state-owned companies must be placed under the Latvian Development Fund, where there would be professional management and the earned money would be reinvested and earn, rather than be consumed in maintaining the state apparatus. Investments would earn with interest. The shares of this LV Development Fund would be listed on the stock exchange and would obtain the necessary capital for energy projects, regional construction, strengthening the border, infrastructure projects such as roads and railways, etc.
From@tv24_lv"Tragically low level and unprofessionalism," concluded @AndrisKulbergs, @Apvienotais_ prime ministerial candidate, on TV24 program "Runāsim atklāti" about the governance of state-owned companies. ▶️ Watch the full TV24 program: Part 1 https://t.co/2GAZiVZRo9 Part 2 https://t.co/daQkMqZ3wP Part 3 https://t.co/UGqWWAXGlo

Kulberg's eye is twitching. But who chose this government?
Kulbergs: My eyelids are twitching and I want to cry from bureaucracy
Kulberg's "eye corners twitch" and he wants to cry - what causes such a reaction?
In private business, the manager is the decision-maker who allows things to happen but simultaneously takes full responsibility. In government, you depend on 3 coalition partners and their behavior in the Saeima. Therefore, without a dominant mandate from voters, it is impossible to achieve real bureaucracy reduction. After the elections, if society gives such a mandate, AS will certainly accomplish it.
From@VisockisJuris@AndrisKulbergs That means no bureaucracy reduction will happen, because in Latvia there has never been a coalition going in one direction, it has always been selfish tug-of-war. In your private business, if reforms/optimizations are needed, do you also wait for all cooperation partners, lazy employees, opponents of ideas to agree?

"These meetings are killing me" Kulbergs criticizes bureaucracy in state administration
@tv24_lv Bureaucracy can be reduced by doing! The commission I lead this year made changes to several laws, actually reducing bureaucracy, especially in construction. This week the commission heard Endziņš. And it turns out that in half a year @AndrisKulbergs has not met with him even once! More work and fewer speeches!
From@tv24_lv“I want to weed out bureaucracy, but I cannot do it alone. In my daily Cabinet of Ministers meetings my eyelids twitch and I want to cry, these meetings kill me, there is so much pollution with bureaucracy,” the Prime Minister @AndrisKulbergs @Apvienotais_, a candidate for the 15th Saeima deputy seat, said on TV24 program “Let’s speak openly!”
