@EvikaSilina @Apvienotais_ @Jauna_Vienotiba Noble call! 😇
From@EvikaSilinaI have invited Andris Kulbergs and @Apvienotais_ tomorrow for talks with @Jauna_Vienotiba. Issues important to society, such as reducing the fuel price by 20 cents, remain unresolved, while constitutional amendments proposed by the opposition are being supported. We expect responsible action from the Prime Minister.

MPs reduce the excise duty on fuel and themselves admit that it is too little.
This season, heating will be as much as 30% more expensive, but Latvian politicians have a European-level solution.
From@SMinistrija@Lato_Lapsa I have a more important question: why is Baiba, who did not receive the people's mandate, behaving as if she had? Also @AndrisKulbergs likes to speak in the "we" format about some atomic programme. Where is the referendum? Or has the little interim prime minister already slipped into the role of Napoleon?

Saeima supports reducing excise tax on diesel and petrol
⚠️ President Rinkēvičs did NOT convene the extraordinary Cabinet of Ministers meeting requested by our LPV. Prime Minister Kulbergs also did NOT convene an extraordinary government meeting. BUT TODAY THE Saeima DID ADOPT A DECISION - to reduce the excise tax on fuel from 1 October until the end of the year. Expected impact on price - approximately 8 cents per litre. QUESTION - WILL 8 CENTS PER LITRE CHANGE ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE? P.S. Let me remind you - we, LATVIA FIRST, addressed President Edgars Rinkēvičs with a call to convene an extraordinary Cabinet of Ministers meeting, so that the president, Prime Minister Kulbergs and ministers would sit at one table and decide on a much more substantial solution - abolishing the excise tax or reducing VAT at least until the end of the year. Then at the end of the year we look at what is happening on the world market and decide further.
Saeima adopts amendments to reduce fuel prices
The composition of the coalition will be the winner's responsibility.
From@Krisjanis_KA new reality could be here as soon as next week. Diesel fuel could cost close to €3.00/l due to this US diesel export ban. That means a huge blow to the economy and exports. Now the Prime Minister @AndrisKulbergs, as a true transport and auto sector expert, could play a leading role in reducing the comprehensive EU minimum excise level. Because such a price level will mean that transport companies will go bankrupt, many regional transport services will not take place, etc. Is anything already being done in this area, @MGruskevics?

@GEd1505 @Raivis40118307 @Apvienotais_ Exactly 🎯
From@GEd1505@Raivis40118307 @AndrisKulbergs @Apvienotais_ For particularly slow ones - to get Saudi Arabian oil, you have to go through Hormuz. There is a second option - a pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea, but that, firstly, has been bombed and even intact doesn't provide a large flow, and secondly - to get to it, you have to go past the Houthis.
