@AlksneR There you go. So what relevance does that have in the context of Budanov's visit? PS that network is still working.
From@AlksneR@poznaks No, I am not saying Kulbergs was a Chekist; that network worked smarter.

Registered unemployment in Vidzeme is lower than the Latvian average: 4.1% versus 4.6%. People are working. However, last year the average gross wage in Vidzeme was €365 per month lower than in the country as a whole. That is why our goal is more well-paid jobs in the regions. For the UNITED LIST, the priorities are clear: security and the economy. A secure state gives entrepreneurs confidence to invest. Orderly state finances allow investment in development. Our task is to ensure that investment and better-paid jobs also reach Vidzeme and other Latvian regions. A person should not have to leave their municipality to receive decent pay for their work. 💶 Video: LTV Vidzeme leaders' debate “Choose the Future!” (24.09.)
From@MadzinsI see, tomorrow to the third reading, a communist mess. Interesting whether the ruling coalition led by AS and @AndrisKulbergs will approve Judins' (JV) initiative to criminalize business with absurd prison sentences for possible prohibited agreements between entrepreneurs?

Dear Mrs. @Braze_Baiba, please tell me why @AndrisKulbergs had to be kicked out head over heels at the last moment because of the Foreign Ministry team's work that was not done on time? You are very lucky that you are still the Minister of Foreign Affairs because of 3/10🤝 https://t.co/Yl5wl8EmfK
From@Braze_BaibaThis morning on TV3 the Prime Minister was outraged and reproaches @Arlietas for Latvia defending its security interests in the EU to the end and being able to impose a veto. He thinks we should have agreed sooner, like the other Balts, to removing the 2 oligarchs from sanctions. That is news to me. Unpleasant. 1/2

Andis Kudors: provocations from Russia on election day are very likely
“Until the very last moment in the negotiations I objected to the rape of my woman, that was a morally correct position, my friends saw and appreciated it, however I had to make a responsible decision, so in the end I abstained.” https://t.co/fqzisquQPi
From@AndrisKulbergsLatvia agrees to a compromise, but does not change its principled position. We objected to the last minute against the removal of Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman from the EU sanctions list. Latvia was the only EU country that fought for this until the very end of the negotiations. It was a morally correct position, and our friends in Ukraine saw and appreciated it. However, the government had to make a responsible decision. The choice was not between a good and a bad solution. The choice was between changing the status of two individuals and the risk of losing the entire sanctions regime applying to more than 2,600 Russian war supporters, individuals and companies. Therefore, Latvia's representative will abstain in the vote. This will allow the sanctions to be extended not for the usual six months, but for 36 months. For the next three years, it will be much harder for the Kremlin and its allies to try to split Europe and trade over the future of sanctions every six months. At the same time, Latvia does not step back: 🔒 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with immediately preparing the legal basis for imposing national sanctions on Usmanov and Fridman; 💶 we will use all legal instruments to prevent the release of their funds and economic resources in Latvia; 🛡️ in talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, we reached an agreement to start negotiations on Latvia's involvement in the French nuclear deterrence initiative; ✈️ France is ready to strengthen its military presence in Latvia, especially in the area of air defense; 🇺🇦 I personally informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian Prime Minister about Latvia's decision. Ukraine understands our position and supports the need to maintain a unified European sanctions regime. Latvia will not allow the sanctions regime against thousands of Russian war supporters to collapse because of two individuals. We maintained our political position, safeguarded the continuation of sanctions and at the same time achieved a significant strengthening of Latvia's security. As long as Russia continues the war, Latvia will continue to stand on Ukraine's side. Firmly and without retreat.

However, it turns out he didn't beat his wife in a drunken state, but did something else - even more horrendous. I guess we haven't experienced very often that a court president suggests a judge step down… https://t.co/CcEzQKmzEL
From@Lato_LapsaIt seems that Zemgale Regional Court judge Raimonds Rinčs may have beaten his wife – Jelgava City Council lawyer Lelde Rinča, even while drunk. And where is the Istanbul Convention? And why are all the Dombravas and Smiltēns so quiet, so quiet this time? And why aren't Beate's handbags crying? https://t.co/44gSlb7LeB

Could there be problems again in the Saeima elections? Officials give no guarantees
Organizers of the Saeima elections are confident they will not repeat old mistakes, but do not rule out new hitches.
Will the glitches of previous elections repeat? Officials do not give a 100% guarantee that everything will work out.
@Apvienotais_ candidate for prime minister @AndrisKulbergs in his video statements stubbornly talks only about illegal migration. That is political hypocrisy and manipulation - living in a private house neighborhood, he won't have to deal with the "safety culture" brought by migrants from third countries. Denmark's and the Netherlands' long-term studies clearly prove: legal immigration from third countries has no positive contribution to the economy! It creates pure losses to the state treasury (in Denmark on average -€14,200 per person per year), drowns our national language, culture, and creates enormous security risks. The only benefit is the cheap labor lobby of certain entrepreneurs. Against this background, illegal migration is a completely different and much smaller problem!
And what was this third-country migrant doing here in Latvia? Why was he in Latvia? @AndrisKulbergs migrants "disturb us!" They endanger our children! https://t.co/xDYwKh2Oqk
From@Valsts_policijaLast Friday, September 18, State Police officials detained a 1998-born Uzbek citizen at one of Riga's shopping centers, who approached minor girls and offered money for engaging in sexual activities. @AndrisKulbergs will Latvia not object and agree to remove sanctions? https://t.co/kS45qcFFcp
From@nexta_tvEU prepares to lift sanctions on Usmanov and Fridman Ambassadors from 27 EU countries have agreed to remove Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman from the sanctions lists, Reuters reports. The decision will take effect if no country objects in the coming hours. Their removal became part of a deal to extend sanctions against thousands of other Russian individuals and organizations for another three years. France and Slovakia advocated lifting the sanctions on Usmanov. Luxembourg sought Fridman’s removal from the list. Both businessmen have been under EU sanctions since 2022.
