From@JankaPipars1Moral cripples from the Bite company. They are ready to pay a migrant more. Even perhaps a third more than a local, but raise the local's wages by a third? Never. And then we pay migrants 100 million a year. A trifle, gorkšprāt.

15956@PZanis3 @VadimsLasenko How can I know whether it is a criminal offense? That is not within my competence. I expressed an opinion. For my services I issue an invoice, and I sleep very well :)
From@PZanis3@CerinsAivis @VadimsLasenko Shouldn't you have reported a criminal offense long ago, how many events have you hosted while receiving cash in an envelope?

From@IvoButkevicsNot a word from the Estonians about infrastructure fees, not a word about some magical 300%, not a word about how hard it is in Brussels, Africa, life, and the fate of the epoch... You see, through Estonia the occupiers' grain is not being transported right now. It is easier not to get on the needle than to try to get off. https://t.co/f7yYZpLEQt

@taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ 1- A fairly plausible hypothesis that ST is a springboard document + I agree that we can introduce laws ourselves. In reality they already were/are. The biggest problem is with police capacity and capabilities. 2- I also agree.
From@taisnibaskalps@CerinsAivis @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ 1) Aivis, if all the left parties advocate for it so much, it means that the future plans for this paper are different; additionally, it requires additional spending from us. We can introduce our own laws ourselves, and for now this is yet another trough, and Latvia has no money. 2. It is a matter of principle.

From@janisdombravaWe will submit amendments to the law to prevent the possibility of retaining dual Latvian-Russian citizenship. The parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Interior, E. Šnore, today offers the parties represented in the Saeima to sign amendments to the Citizenship Law, so that persons like P. Avens cannot simultaneously retain both Latvian and Russian citizenship. I trust that all parties will be ready not only in words but also to practically act against the interests of Russian oligarchs.

Yes, good examples. Shows the problem. But, on the other hand, the state provides basic services to all people. We are a socialist state. Health, education, including. It is not free in the end, but partially. Who pays for it? That part which is able to work and works, roughly half of the state. And then one tricky question. Life requires means to survive. And those minimum social contributions are based on the minimum wage. I do not believe that most people live on a third of the minimum wage. Do you believe? Of course, there are exceptions, the same young mothers. You can still find them, but those will be exceptions.
From@KasparsKalninshMinimum social contributions are absolutely unjust and superfluous. Examples: 1. As a building manager, I needed a janitor while the building's janitor was ill. One person agreed to work. Realistically 1-2 hours a day are needed. For us as an association, it was a big expense because social contributions have to be paid from the minimum wage. Even though the janitor does not work full time, because we cannot provide that for him. 2. There are many young mothers who physically cannot work all day because the child is small and does not attend kindergarten or is ill. 3. There are simply rural people who do not need a full working day; part-time at a school is enough, because at home there is a lot of farm work, but technically they cannot support themselves only from agricultural activity. Or it is seasonal.

"I ask to strike me off", "let's stop talking about war" and promises to reduce taxes – "Next, please!" debates. What have the prime ministerial candidates committed to do?
Latvians, let's go vote! Let us stand up for our state, nation, culture and language every day. The next four years could be the most dramatic for us since the events of January and August 1991. Let us do everything so that peace in Latvia lasts forever! We are ready to take to the streets if necessary!
From@Jauna_Vienotiba🇪🇺 A strong Latvia needs a strong and united Europe. The President of the European People's Party (EPP), Manfred Weber @ManfredWeber, stresses the importance of European unity for security, growth and support for Ukraine and expresses support for NEW UNITY in the upcoming elections. 💬 “New UNITY is a European party in Latvia. It has proven this over the past decades, and it will prove it in the future too.”

From@2N_ICEBOXIf it turns out to be true that the vatnitsa @StepanenkoJulij, with undisguised Kremlin cash and support in Latvia, collects a full house in the elections, things are bad for our country. Really bad. Including for the security services and the legislation. Let’s march to vote for the Latvian parties! There is no alternative.

Saeima adopts the State Sports Fund Law in the final reading; at least 5 million euros will be allocated to it annually
@taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ Not so long ago, when there was a lack of substance in the conversation, people talked about the weather. The new trend is the Istanbul Convention 😅🤷🏽 We primarily need to think about how not to go bankrupt. If someone beats/humiliates/blackmails women/children/fellow citizens, then the scoundrel must be punished with or without conventions. Am I wrong? 🙏🏼
From@taisnibaskalpsA question for @VL_TBLNNK and @Apvienotais_ before I cast my ballot. Will you repeal the Istanbul Convention?

From@Janis_ZalansThe Four Noble Truths of Buddhism teach that suffering has a cause and that to end suffering, this cause must be ended. Today this idea is often illustrated by a quote attributed to Albert Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” This teaching is more than 2000 years old. For centuries it has run through sacred scriptures, philosophical thought, and modern pop culture. It has helped people free themselves from addictions by teaching that old behaviour will lead to old results, and has helped understand human psychology by studying how repeated behaviour produces the same results. Politics is no exception! We cannot hope for a better result by voting for the same parties that are responsible for the current situation. During the active campaign, meeting with the people of Latvia, I sometimes felt like a young person in a job interview who is not hired because he lacks work experience, but cannot gain work experience because no one hires him. Very many people want to see new politicians, and when Austošā Saule Latvijai offers a list with many new politicians, someone always commented: “But you have no political experience.” Well, a new politician with previous political experience is impossible. I am ready to take full responsibility for the political activities of each ASL candidate in Kurzeme. I myself have approached all these candidates and recommended the ASL council to approve them as candidates for the 15th Saeima elections. Moreover, as head of the membership admission commission, I have recommended that the party admit most of all ASL candidates. Therefore, a certain part of the responsibility for the future political activity of every ASL candidate also rests on me. LOOK! You have a team of new politicians to vote for and the RIGHT to demand a different result! Uncomfortable for the powers that be - needed for Latvia Austošā Saule Latvijai
