From@andrii_sybihaThank you, @DirectorODIHR, for yet again ringing alarm bells about the humanitarian disaster experienced by the people of Russian-occupied Oleshky. The facts documented by @osce_odihr are alarming and appalling. Russia’s occupation has left civilians struggling for the most basic necessities, including food, water, heating, electricity, and medical care. ODIHR has also documented accounts of Russian forces preventing residents from leaving and using civilians to shield military positions. Russia must stop obstructing humanitarian access and allow safe passage for civilians who want to leave. This is an unprecedented humanitarian emergency that requires international action here and now. The world cannot turn away while people are being left without the basic means to survive. Urgent international action is required to secure humanitarian access and save the residents of Oleshky. Every day of delay puts more innocent lives at risk.

@RitaEvaNa Very peculiar hallucinations. Hard to call it anything else. But well... everyone can think what they want.
From@RitaEvaNaThe absurdity of 3 October - United List voters happily think they will vote for the boldly talkative, charming Kulbergs, but in the end they will vote for Šķēle, Waterfront and migration. And with high probability - as a result of the coincidence of numbers - for an AS coalition with Šlesers.

To introduce a mixed system like Germany's and Lithuania's, the almost unamendable Article 6 of the Constitution would have to be amended. If the Saeima amends it by a large majority, it would still have to be confirmed in a popular referendum in which the amendment is supported by more than half of all eligible voters. Not half of referendum participants, not half of those who took part in the previous election, but half of eligible voters. Such a referendum cannot be held without a government-funded and government-led campaign. The main drawback of the mixed system is that there would be two classes of deputies. Even more pronounced than in today's parliament. In the Irish model, every deputy has thousands of voters behind them. There are no anonymous ones. The Irish model is not complicated. The Sainte-Laguë method, which is used in the current system, is more complicated.
From@vmakarovs@JazepsBasko I expected a more extensive assessment from you. Isn't it too complicated? Isn't the German model simpler?

In Latvia 🇱🇻, healthcare indicators are the worst among EU countries. For years I have been showing statistics that confirm this. Numbers don't lie. But it can be changed. #MēsMaināmNoteikumus, list No. 2️⃣ https://t.co/domxbhmA3y

@bottija @Zmeycharauski Then we must vote for @partijaMMN Nothing else remains.
From@bottijaI would like the most unjust of taxes to be eliminated - the real estate tax on a single property. If there are two or more, let it be, but for the only one - that means forever paying on top of what is already yours. Although this tax is significant for wealth in many places, e.g., in Ropaži and elsewhere, it is a blatantly unfair tax. If only it weren't Dombrovskis's introduction during the great crisis.
