Occupation Museum director urges Kulbergs to weigh his recent statements about the museum.
Finally! A joint EU decision to release 6.6 billion EUR from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine. 🇪🇺🇺🇦 Increasing support to Ukraine and more pressure on Russia is the only way to peace. #StandWithUkraine https://t.co/poKnWFFr98
From@kajakallasEU Member States have agreed on the terms for releasing €6.6 billion European Peace Facility funds for Ukraine. That’s good news for Ukraine and bad news for Russia. €900 million are for the EU’s Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine. €1 billion will fund new joint procurement of equipment. And €4.7 billion will reimburse Member States, with some already saying they will channel their share to Ukraine. Moscow’s hybrid attacks try to intimidate Europe into scaling back its support for Ukraine. Europe is doing the opposite.

All shelter locations on one map 🗺️📢 The State Land Service, in cooperation with the State Fire and Rescue Service, has created a shelter map that shows shelter locations in one place. The map is freely available to everyone without authorization on the portal. I encourage everyone to check where shelters are located near your home, workplace, and children's schools. It is the state's duty to help prepare for a potential crisis and make important information easily accessible. The shelter map is a concrete step in this direction; work on civil defense must continue! Thanks to the State Land Service and the State Fire and Rescue Service for this joint effort! @I_Spilbergs @AlbertsZiemelis what does LA have to do with all his trials? Nothing! That guy is really funny.
From@I_Spilbergs@JurgisLiepnieks @AlbertsZiemelis Nothing - will it also include what was said about court rulings? As for mutual sympathies and antipathies, I have no interest in delving into, but does the gentleman really also ramble about court rulings?

From@PStrautinsIt is very amusing to watch how people defend two mutually exclusive positions. There are those who proclaim themselves great patriots, adorn themselves with LV and UA flags, but support a fossil-fuel-supporting policy, which is a strategically wrong choice for our country both economically and geopolitically. Hiding behind decorative struggles to divert attention. RU grain transit and whiskey trade in the opposite direction are secondary/trivial issues for their economy. Continuing the use of petroleum products in transport is the most important issue of all. This helps to understand why political forces in Europe that support RU are also enthusiastic fighters against the Green Deal.

Follow other candidates' responses on our social media! Before the elections, the 'Ir' editorial team gathered young people who explained what issues concern them and what they expect from the next Saeima. It has been calculated how many foreigners will be allowed to live in Latvia
Valainis: Latvia has a European-level solution for reducing heating energy tariffs.
No. Do not even think that I could advance a mechanism that would increase the number of foreigners in Latvia. The scheme is much more complicated. This is not about the combined number that increases every year. For many residence permits, there is an obligation to re-register after just one year. Most of the quota would be filled by foreigners who have already been living in Latvia for a long time with the right to employment, for example, a foreigner who is a family member of a Latvian citizen. As a result, the total number of residence permits would drop sharply. The system provides that the figure is reassessed every year based on the opinions of the competent authorities.
From@SuipeJanis@janisdombrava Please explain! 2% new migrants every year? That would be 36,000 third-world migrants EVERY YEAR? After 20 years migrants would be 720,000. That's called restricting?
