I have sent a reminder to institutions subordinate to the Ministry to continue to strictly ensure that Russia’s attempts to normalise the war and return to the Latvian and international cultural space are not allowed. We are in the fifth year since Russia invaded its neighbouring country Ukraine, and from the first day of the war Latvia’s cultural sector has demonstrated a clear and principled stance. Under my leadership, the Ministry of Culture denounced the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Institutional cooperation with Russian cultural institutions was discontinued, cultural projects were suspended, and existing contacts between industry professionals were reviewed. We are now living in a time when Russia is trying to get back into the international cultural sphere. These attempts are becoming increasingly sophisticated. I once again remind everyone to carefully evaluate cooperation and projects, and I also trust that municipal cultural institutions will heed this call. 🔗More here: https://t.co/mkOLt4AY8a #brīdinājums #drošība #kultūra #ukraina #latvija

🛡️ NEW UNITY has turned to the Prosecutor General's Office calling for an assessment of the activities of the party "Sovereign Power" and the legality of its funding. Serious reports have emerged in recent days. Jūlija Stepaņenko has received gifts worth almost €420,000 from her father Sergejs Fedotovs, who lives in Russia. Fedotovs, in turn, confirmed to LTV that his company, as a subcontractor, produced anti-tank obstacles for Russia's needs. Viktor Bout, convicted in the US for arms trafficking, has also visited his company. At the same time, the "Sovereign Power" programme provides for suspending Latvia's support for Ukraine, reducing defence funding and abolishing the national defence service. These circumstances raise questions that law enforcement authorities must examine. Therefore, we call on the Prosecutor General's Office to assess whether the party's activities show direct or indirect support for the aggressor state or justification of aggression, and to act as provided by law in the event of violations. 🇱🇻 There is no place for illegal Russian influence in Latvian politics.

If LSM published ratings a week before election day in 2022, then today there should be ratings. If there are no ratings today, then apparently someone is trying very hard to make LSM interfere in the election outcome after all? Please confirm the opposite to dispel concerns that something is happening in a grey area and behind closed doors @lsmlv @Lato_Lapsa @KNL_LTV1

@axe_lv @andrislov you're joking :))) what facts??? that Pūce supposedly called something? 1000% it will turn out he's lying, just like all those other delusions that LA is to blame for all his misfortunes

@JurgisLiepnieks @andrislov Ramoliņš is not fluffy, but unlike your video, he cites only concrete/ironclad facts and backs them up with documents, not feelings, premonitions, and whatever analogies. Wherever the Jaunups–Pūce tandem is involved, there is scheming, stealing, and rip-offs.

Thanks to the association of economists for the high rating given to @Progresivie Particularly highlighted are Pro's professional development, ability to make unpopular decisions, and reputation. The choice of Latvian products must be every resident's first choice - starting with municipalities when procuring catering services, ending with every daily visit to the shop. @RaivisZeltits Unfortunately, I have to agree. @JurgisLiepnieks is an excellent writer (Mans nabaga Marats) and an extraordinarily thoroughly educated, self-taught person. However, in this case, working off the honorarium is utterly vulgar and crass. A pity. @partijaMMN

Jurģis Liepnieks yesterday recorded and published an extremely nervous string of words, which some consider an opinion. In it, without any surprises, he tried to frame other parties in his strange categories, to praise the yellow ball project 'Latvijas attīstībai'. For Liepnieks (and now brace yourselves) NA are nationalists, Vienotība are even bigger nationalists, therefore 'Austošā Saule Latvijai' turns out to be fascists. According to this new political division, we can assume that 'Progresīvie' are centrists, and Josifs Staļins is a social democrat. I would invite Liepnieks and other nervous Latvian political science and political technology fossils, such as Ostrovska, Rozenvalds, Ozoliņš, etc., to sit in a circle, where you could all throw yellow balls at each other and talk about where exactly 'Austošā Saule Latvijai' has offended you. Or repaint those balls red, put them on your noses, and continue your clown show to the historical trash heap. The fact that 500 patriots in Latvia can voluntarily unite in a self-organized and self-financed party doesn't even cross your mind – such neural pathways simply don't exist in your post-Soviet brains. Everything for you is a 'project', a 'formation', something 'detached' or another hallucination, because that's how you are used to making politics – with money, with PR-office plans, with sorting macaroni, from above, with approval of power. When we appear, hallucinations intensify, because there are no reference points – who are these people who dare to think for themselves, act themselves, and do? 35 years after the restoration of independence, you shame those who devote their free time and energy to engage in politics, and then you call yourselves Western, liberals, and whatever else. If any party in Latvian politics is superfluous, it is 'Latvijas attīstībai'. If you are for liberal values, then JV and other parties, if you are for free market, then there is MMN, if you are for everyone sleeping with everyone, but calling it a family, then there are 'Progresīvie'. 'Latvijas attīstībai' is needed only by Jaunups and maybe a couple of other people. Not even by your prime ministerial candidate, who is not running in the elections, i.e. does not risk his own skin for all this, because he knows it is safer to stay in the European Parliament. So juggle as much as you want, but the Covid years are not that old and everyone remembers that Attīstībai/Par ruined everything they touched – the territorial reform, energy, Covid restrictions, allowed the May 9 celebrations in 2022 during the war. You were the original 'Progresīvie' in this field. You had the chance to replace 'Jaunā Vienotība' – you ruined it. These are your last elections – ours are the first! P.s. were those balls bought with state-allocated party funding?
