@RaivisZeltits @tikums Today I watched the LTV conversation with SV voters - not a single question about Russia, national interests, zero. Howw can you invite three Russophiles and let them speak at length without in any way challenging the party's anti-state nature?

We continue interviews with prime minister candidates. Since becoming prime minister, Andris Kulbergs has gained great popularity. In the interview, he talks about saving money, a coalition with Šlesers, a conflict with NGOs, and the possibility of continuing his daily video posts. 🔗 https://t.co/uSSAtX8YbQ

@GundegaFelicity @Braze_Baiba @AndrisKulbergs For example, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should have timely submitted information to the Cabinet of Ministers that the relevant situation was developing.

@CerinsAivis @Braze_Baiba @AndrisKulbergs What exactly, in your opinion, is the failure in all this? A protest against the removal of the specific oligarch from the sanctions?

I think the picture is becoming clearer. Russia still wants to avoid war with NATO, but it is moving towards more Leipzig style provocations and attacks, clearly undeterred by the German and European response to that incident & perhaps seeing a window of opportunity for applying pressure during Trump’s presidency and while Europe’s military buildup is at a nascent stage.

@Lazdans @energodata @gintsmurans @JanisVitenbergs EKII money must be used for demonstrable gains (energy efficiency and transition to renewable energy sources) from the investment, namely, that some other less efficient and economical resource amount (which must be countable) has been replaced.

@Elina_Treija @energodata @gintsmurans @JanisVitenbergs What is stopping them, if they are only going to try?

@Mantrausis @Saeimas_JK An infringement procedure has been launched against Latvia because the requirements of the EU directive have not been met. Adopting the amendments will mean this procedure will be terminated. Sections 115.2 and 115.4 of the Criminal Law are a good compromise: if there is no intent to destroy protected animals or plants, there will be no criminal liability. https://t.co/F5TBBoAOOh

@AndrejsJudins @Saeimas_JK It seems that both you and part of the commission have a very remote (or even non-existent) understanding both of real work and of excellent opportunities to pick on those doing the work... Very stupid boasting, and untimely at that! 😡😡😡😡

The Saeima will consider the constitutional amendments proposed by LPM stating that there are only two sexes.

@io7246 I re-read the text again, I don't see where we would have asked Ostrovska for advice!

@lindberga22 So calm down. Now you don't have the potential to implement power in the state. In any sphere. If you want it so much, build muscles for another 4 years. Get into municipalities, discard the uneducated and unstable.

@ArmandsK55554 @Progresivie The proposal to use the term 'femicide' in the law was submitted to the Saeima by @Progresivie. @Saeimas_JK does not support it and proposes not to use it in the law. Unfortunately, @Progresivie perceives this very painfully. The dispute is not about increasing responsibility, but we have heated debates about the terms.

@AndrejsJudins @Progresivie Against a woman/girl, to be precise. I understand that much, but as a public figure, are you posting this for a narrow circle or the public? The question is rhetorical. 😉

@inesevoika @Progresivie What is your opinion about Rasima's apartment affair? Still, a huge amount of money has been defrauded from the state budget. Just don't say that KNAB said everything is fine; KNAB in Latvia covers up corruption, it is not a good defender.

In Latvia, the detection of cartels and the punishment of legal persons is and will remain within the competence of @KPgovLV. Criminal proceedings can only be initiated on the initiative of the KP. The police will not interfere with the KP, and the KP will not interfere with the police — each institution has its own role.

@GoldbergsJ First, is there really reason to think that the Builders' cartel was the first and only case where entrepreneurs colluded and inflated procurement prices? Second, we did not repeat Estonia's approach. That really wasn't good. (1/2)

Because of one lawsuit where investigators got tangled up in processes, we are now proving something to ourselves in the commission and suspect that the outcome will not be good. Do we really need that, @AndrejsJudins? Is it certain that it's right if the Estonians correct the other way. https://t.co/xbFyCxmBFg

The new coalition - NA, AS, ZZS and LPV will amend the Constitution to specify that there are two genders in Latvia. Apparently, there are problems understanding that without amending the Constitution. Kremlin propaganda has worked well in these parties. During the debate, AS deputies shouted that they would vote for withdrawal from the convention against violence (Istanbul Convention). 😤

As I already wrote, many politicians don't like election campaigns. Then you have to meet a lot with people, journalists, go to debates, answer questions that are not always pleasant. That seems stressful and burdensome to many. Something that has to be endured once every four years so that afterwards you can sit calmly again in the Saeima. Personally, it's exactly the opposite for me - I like election campaigns. I like meeting people, I like driving around Latvia, I like getting to know, learning, listening. I also enjoy debating and arguing my opinion. And therefore one thing I have committed to - if I get elected, I will be just as active and accessible after the elections as I am now before the elections. I want to be exactly your deputy. I want you to know that you have a deputy in the Saeima. A deputy whom you can write to, whom you can meet, to whom you can tell your opinion, criticism, suggestions. We are a small country and a small nation, we can be very close to each other, meet, talk. I want to establish such a new order, a new standard of how deputies communicate with their voters. So vote for me, follow my social media, and let's do politics together. 11th list. Latvijas attīstībai 🎾 A choice for smart people :)
