Meanwhile in occupied Birmingham. Even by their own standards, the city is in complete chaos. "99.9% Pakistani/Somali community." His words, not mine. And it's like that everywhere in Europe where they move in or concentrate. Already now among us, but soon it will pick up real momentum. Unfortunately, without illusions. And not in Liepāja should those migrant camps be built... but in Getliņi! https://t.co/QJDtv9UZCS

Access to family doctors in the regions must become a state priority. In Latvia, 470 of the 1,455 family doctors are over 65 years old. In some municipalities of Zemgale, 60-70% of family doctors have reached retirement age. In Aizkraukle, finding a successor for a doctor took three years, even though her practice has around 2,500 patients. Access to healthcare must not be based on the hope that the doctor will find a successor before retiring. This is a shared responsibility of the state and municipalities. Latvia needs a generational succession plan for family doctors at least ten years ahead, with a clear overview of which municipalities and when a practice closure is imminent. The solution must cover residency training, funding for practice takeovers, mutually transferable municipal scholarships, housing availability, and support for building a doctor's team. At the same time, the state must expand existing support programs to strengthen the family doctor system, especially in the regions. We must act now, not when a doctor has already retired and thousands of patients are left without accessible primary care. https://t.co/f0feJeKiFb

@smiteroke @Lato_Lapsa There is no doubt that Latvia will be better if you are no longer the Director General of the State Revenue Service. It is time for the VID to be led by someone not connected to the political and economic elite. Tax revenues will increase by many hundreds of millions of euros within a year.

@smiteroke @Lato_Lapsa You see, Mrs. Roķe, I am writing about this because I have observed that you tend to have moments of blackout: 1. Covering up for 'New Unity' in the envelope wages case, even though there was a witness ready to speak. 2. When your subordinate A. Prusaks let more than 100 kg of drugs go. There is no excuse.

@kr_klavins @Lato_Lapsa Really? It wouldn't have occurred to me myself. Must definitely write it down.

❗️ Latvian celebrity Ieva Adamss refused to answer the question of who started the war in Ukraine. Instead, with a smile, she compared Russia and Ukraine to a husband and wife who, during a divorce, are dividing shared property. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Today we'll talk about my old acquaintance Ieva Adamss, who visited the main Latvian vatnik YouTube show and took an extremely hypocritical position — namely, that in the war in Ukraine 'everything is not so unambiguous.' 🚨 I have previously met Ieva in my articles about her. I must say, the lady did not like those publications at all — she even filed a complaint with the police. 🎥 First, however, I would recommend watching my three-minute video of her appearance to better understand what this is about. 🇺🇦 The vatniks asked Adamss a very simple question: who, in your opinion, started the war in Ukraine? However, the prominent representative of pseudo-intellectuals refused to give a direct answer, saying she did not want to discuss this topic. 😵‍💫 Perhaps the lady of society perceived the question as a provocation… Although — what is so complicated about saying that Russia is the aggressor? 🎤 It is quite possible that Adamss does not want to lose her event host job at companies in Latvia led by Russian businessmen. That can be understood to some extent, although taking such a stance is much harder. 🤐 Well then, don't talk about the war if money is more important to you than everything else. 📻 But the radio geisha (by the way, please explain in the comments what that actually is) nevertheless decided to elaborate her view on Russia's aggression in Ukraine… 🤯 Ieva stated that Russia and Ukraine are like a husband and wife who once had love between them (when, I wonder? During the occupation?), but now, divorcing, they are dividing shared property. And, in her opinion, there are no relationships where only one is at fault. 🤔 So, did I understand correctly — according to this lady with high social responsibility, some blame for the war caused by Russia also falls on Ukraine itself? The show host agreed with her, saying that the essence of the conflict can only be understood by looking back many centuries into the past. 🙈 Obviously the Polovtsians and Pechenegs came to mind. Namely, there is no simple answer to such a complex question. Ieva Adamss agreed with this opinion. 🤦🏻‍♂️ She even added that the conflict had been brewing for decades and even centuries. So, according to her logic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine was only a kind of trigger. That is why she finds it difficult to say who is really at fault. 🤬 Adamss also claimed that Ukraine and Russia are guilty in the war '50 to 50.' Ieva is also convinced that Latvia has too small fingers for big Russia to even notice. Well, that is a classic propaganda narrative. Bravo! ⚠️ Previously I believed that publicly known people should take a clear and firm stance on issues that are important to society, and by their example take on certain responsibility before their followers. However, in this case, perhaps it would have been better to simply remain silent. 🫵 I warn you in advance: I have compiled this video from three different fragments of the conversation between the geisha and the vatniks. The conversation actually did not happen in that exact sequence, but Ieva's expressed idea does not change from that. 📝 I mention this because this lady is very sensitive and tends to write complaints to the police — although I do not express any statements that could harm her reputation. She does that perfectly well herself! 😇 And yes — Mrs. Adamss will certainly read this publication and the comments below it, so feel free to write what you think about all this. As for me, I believe that such people are sometimes even more dangerous than the vatniks themselves, because with their statements they undermine social cohesion and unity at a time when we have to face a real threat. ❓ What do you think — is it cowardice, fearing to lose corporate event hosting orders, or already Kremlin propaganda in the packaging of a lady of society? #Ukraina #vatņiki #Adamss #propaganda #okupācija

I am pleased that drugs, cigarettes, and other harmful substances that damage the health of the people do not reach the streets. In recent months, the State Police have worked hard to confiscate hundreds of kilograms of drugs and bring the guilty to justice.

Security without a strong economy is not possible in the long term. That is why Latvia needs decisive leadership that understands the needs of both the state and the regions. Humanity is like that. Wars happen from time to time. That aggression is visible throughout society. Just give a reason. Covid time, now traditional war. We also see aggression on the streets, in kicking fallen people. These days all of Twitter is full of it. Kicking and kicking. It is an expression of human nature, no more, no less. And from that accordingly follows what kind of leaders society chooses. Currently - increasingly aggressive ones, also here in the EU.

@guntarsv In 2022 one idiot started a war. In 2026 another idiot. Logically, prices rise.

People ask how I can combine such different and contradictory things as theater, politics, and my own private life? The joke is that for me it's all the same. All these elements go under the name 'I change the rules'. At all levels. Consciousness, health, staging performances, the environment around me - starting with my own home (which is my body), workplace (JRT) and ending with the big houses - the state and the rest of the cosmos. If you walk this path of changing rules, then there are no contradictions, because it happens simultaneously at all levels. I will even say more - no change is ever possible in one sphere if everything else remains unchanged. Changing is cool and interesting, not changing is boring and wasted life time. Changing means always learning something new about yourself and the world, not changing means experiencing nothing new. For inspiration, in the first comment there's a video with Artūrs Ķirpis. A wise Latvian old man. I've tested it on myself and recommend it. Such people in my world should be both health and education ministers, and also presidents.

@partijaMMN Wind farm load in Latvia is ~23% (2024: 276 GWh from 137 MW). But Daugava HPP in 2025 operated at ~21%, CHP at ~17%. By that logic, everything is inefficient. Load is not efficiency — what matters is the cost of each MWh. Sources: CSP, Latvenergo.
