In Andris Šuvajevs's view, “Progresīvie” is one of the main parties in the country. He considers parties whose rating consistently exceeds 5% to be such.

From@jaunupsKulbergs is no solution. At least in the airB matter everything is stuck. One could try to present this as part of a 'plan', but let's be honest, there really is no plan. Soon you'll be able to borrow at 50%..

“The entry of ‘Progressives’ into government is already an achievement in itself,” believes Andris Šuvajevs, the ‘Progressives’ candidate for prime minister. When reminded that the party does not have a detailed program, he replies that they have been working on it since the beginning of the year and today the board will approve it.

Uzulnieks released from isolation; security measure not applied (7)
@IvoSavics Of course, all options were legally reviewed. Everything is in accordance with the laws and the interests of AB and Latvia. Aircraft leasing agreements are with various international financiers, so Latvia's TAP was pointless in this case.
From@IvoSavics@AndrisKulbergs Has AirBaltic already been under US jurisdiction for a long time? Or am I missing something…

The Saeima and government change, but the problem of forced divided property remains unresolved. The Saeima continues to seek a universal formula that would satisfy both sides, but such a formula does not exist. Forced divided property must be ended. https://t.co/gQ4DhxgBa9 https://t.co/3kACMOoFbE
@ZaniteSkujina Mr. Smiltēns has shown us that laws can be changed in one evening. As a patient, it is unclear what is being piloted. Okay, I went to a private doctor, paid, helped the state reduce the queue, but in return I expect that I can still take the next steps in the state-funded system.
From@ZaniteSkujina@instant_mk I understood from the Ministry of Health that a pilot project is currently underway to find the best solution to this problem. So far the argument is that a private doctor has no contract with NVD. This really is not fair and has been in the view of Saeima colleagues for ~2 years already. However, progress is terribly slow.

@evita_purina I understand that for years you have been very worried about alcoholism in the "New Unity" interior minister's position, but now a drunkard heads the transport sector? Also in Old Riga they say that the "Progressives" mayor of the capital is friends with the green dragon. But you are worried about ZZS. Funny.
From@evita_purinaJust a week ago – nobody has an alcohol problem. Maybe it's finally time to talk honestly about addictions in office, because it's clear this is not the only case and the only party? https://t.co/kD4KJD4grs

In Kyiv, with Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi ( @KoretskyiUA ), we agreed to continue work to strengthen practical cooperation between Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine. 🇱🇻🇱🇹🤝🇺🇦 On Ukraine's path to the European Union, implementing rule-of-law and justice reforms is one of the central tasks that will determine the speed of the accession process. Together with Lithuania's Justice Minister Rita Tamašunienė, we expressed readiness to continue supporting Ukraine's reform implementation, while the cooperation memorandum signed by the Latvian and Ukrainian justice ministries provides a concrete framework for this – sharing Latvia's experience in justice sector reforms. We also discussed necessary solutions to strengthen economic pressure on Russia. We presented Latvia's proposed solutions for restricting Russian grain transit at the Baltic level. Our goal is to prevent Russia from using Baltic transport infrastructure to bolster its export revenues and finance the war. Latvia will continue advancing this issue together with Lithuania and Estonia. With the new Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture Taras Vysotskyi, we agreed to continue work on grain origin control and restricting Russian grain flows. Special attention will also continue to be paid to defense industry cooperation. We agreed on next steps for Latvian and Ukrainian companies to develop and localize defense technology production in Latvia – both for Latvia's and NATO's needs, and to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities. The framework for this cooperation is provided by the Latvian-Ukrainian agreement on defense cooperation signed by Latvia's Prime Minister and Ukraine's President in June. At the same time, we are preparing for a difficult winter in Ukraine. Latvia will continue to provide practical support in areas where it is most needed and coordinate this support with the Ukrainian government. This visit once again confirmed that Latvia-Ukraine cooperation is becoming increasingly practical – we are strengthening Ukraine's ability to defend its country, while also strengthening Latvia's and NATO's security.
From@martinsstalsNothing like that happened at Īslīce Culture House. The behavior may have seemed a bit odd, but not such that anyone would call anyone. Later, however, ZZS reportedly had a tent in Bauska - we should find out how that went. I think this was simply a PR mistake, because the gentleman was unable to organize a proactive press statement. If he could film a video that the detained person was not him, then no police would be able to disclose personal data to refute his version. Currently, in many comments I read sympathy from people, so it is not ruled out that we will soon see a press conference where, shedding a tear, the former minister will complain about the heavy workload and stress, having practically not seen his family during the campaign. This emotional message will work in a positive way. After being elected, the Saeima will even let him chair some committee. And after a couple of years, he could hope for government positions. That is, of course, if someone's conscience suddenly doesn't awaken or the exclusion decision was not part of an internal ZZS power redistribution.
