@AinavaP I never said that experts would do everything. I outright reject expert rule. Politicians consult with experts and decide politically, rather than competing over who pretends to be a bigger know-it-all in a foreign field.

I watched the LTV debates. MMN annoys me. Experts will do everything... And what happens if that expert is bribed? It's easier to bribe one person, few can withstand the test of money. Does everyone want to sacrifice?

We had a great meeting with @Kyrylo_Budanov in Riga. Next step in co-operation in military, creating first military industry's 🇺🇦&🇱🇻 companies in Latvia, support in UKR grain export and control of 🇷🇺 grain being mixed with stolen 🇺🇦 grain from occupied areas, 🇱🇻 help in energy heat and electricity equipment for the winter season and a dinner to remeber in famous @Motormuzejs built by my father and his team of oldtimer club

Today I work all day in Riga. Within the framework of the working visit, important meetings are planned on economic and defense cooperation between Ukraine and Latvia. This is exactly what we discussed with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Andris Kulbergs. I thanked the Prime Minister for his constant support of Ukraine, particularly in the energy sector. It is important for us to speed up the transfer of energy equipment ahead of the heating season. We also discussed further military cooperation between our countries, expanding partnership between defense industries, and countering Russian aggression, which has long gone beyond Ukraine. It is symbolic that the conversation took place at the car museum created by Andris Kulbergs' father. The collection includes cars of dictators Stalin, Khrushchev, and a broken Rolls-Royce of Brezhnev. The old general secretary simply couldn't handle the vehicle, and the Soviet system never managed to repair it due to technological backwardness and resource shortages. Any empire built on illusions and aggression ends the same way: broken, without spare parts and future. We keep working.

✅ Meet! Physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor Zane Gaile! A Grīziņkalns resident! One of the 3000 people who signed against the modal filter on Vārnu Street on the portal “Mana balss”. And one of more than 100 Grīziņkalns activists who gathered this evening for a meeting with the mayor in Koka Rīga. The city council's task is to respect these Riga residents, remove the filter, restore traffic on Vārnu Street in full length, and organize it so as to also prevent transit. I am sure that @KristapsKaulins will handle this task. #Grīziņkalns

Jāzeps Baško on potential cooperation partners in the Saeima. MMN's main cooperation criteria are support for changing the electoral procedure and a general cleanup of state administration, as well as a clear stance on Ukraine. Everything else - based on the results on the morning of October 4th. https://t.co/tPBbmCLlbs

@AbeleTrifele @LV_visiem @kr_klavins @KuzminsPavels @VinilaValdis @liana_langa I have also experienced the boasting of such a shocking occupier's granddaughter, who lived with her parents on Hospitāļu Street. Moreover, her grandfather, an occupier's officer, lived in the apartment opposite on the same floor, and there also "all the furniture, dishes and fur coats had already been". They have a cannibalistic mentality.

@ChiuljuPussala @realNepareizais Introduce communism. A fair price is determined by decree, and there is no fuel. Will you give away your property for half price? Or will you still try to earn it yourself?

@guntarsv @realNepareizais Then how to get the fuel price down?

“The focus in the next four years must be on the workforce in Latvia that is not fully engaged – young people, persons with disabilities, people of pre-retirement age. [..] There must be a migration policy. It cannot be like the current coalition, which talks about some plans but at the same time agrees on golden visas,” Andris Šuvajevs (Progressives) said in the #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni debates in Riga. #Vēlēšanas2026
