@AivarsLokmanis Which taxes? What taxes can be refunded to a 20-year-old young mother? There simply aren't any. The benefit is a security guarantee to decide in favor of a child. The question 'Can we afford a child?' should never arise at all! Latvian demographics is the main priority.
@AndrisVelps Completely wrong! Families should be exempt from taxes during child care, not given benefits! Instead of a birth benefit, the family should be refunded taxes for previous years!

LSM must be liquidated not because someone dislikes it. LSM must be liquidated because it is a burner of budget money and a politically engaged mouthpiece for a narrow political circle and ideology, and for all our tax money. And it will be that way as long as it is dependent and forced to serve the government's money providers or ideological placements. It has nothing to do with double morality. And not 'dreams' but believes, oh you our emotional :) Of course, private media are also not protected from political influence. That is why not only LSM but also all SIFs and MAFs must be liquidated. The idea is not new, I think it is even in the programs of several parties, not only MMN. Only those living in barrels and sewers do not know it. And those living there also believe that LSM is 'independent' and 'objective'.

Under this scheme, the state will only keep about 10% if it lends another 30 million euros, which will later be converted into capital. Because of the negative equity, the current state shares will most likely be cancelled or diluted. Without new money, there won't even be 10%.

Yesterday, on September 5, a serious incident occurred during a walk of the preschool "Riekstiņš" pupils, in which six children were injured. A group of 19 children, accompanied by a teacher and a teacher's assistant, had gone on a previously agreed walk outside the educational institution's territory, following the approved walking route. During the walk, two unsupervised dogs approached the group of children from the end of Lašu Street. According to information provided by the institution, six children were injured in the incident, two of whom were hospitalized. One of the teachers accompanying the children was also injured. Four administrative violation proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident. The Food and Veterinary Service (PVD) has been informed and will take action within its competence regarding the assessment of the dogs. The municipality is cooperating with the police, the Food and Veterinary Service, and other responsible services to clarify all circumstances and assess necessary further safety measures.
