The plan has been developed based on the conclusions made by the Saeima parliamentary investigative committee on immigration issues. It was previously led by Dombrava, and its final report included approximately 100 recommendations for improving immigration policy and its control, the minister's adviser Marija Luīze Ratniece informed LETA agency https://t.co/XRSYrTiUwn

Femicide is not simply another word for murder. It is the killing of a woman because of her gender or a gender-related motive. That is why @Progresivie has submitted amendments to the Criminal Law, proposing that femicide be recognized as murder with particularly aggravating circumstances. If the basis of violence is hatred, the desire to control or punish a woman because she is a woman, the state must clearly name it and assess it accordingly. Violence against women is not a private matter. It is the responsibility of the whole society and the state.

There is no golden egg, I have never voted for them before, but now by process of elimination, they are the only ones I can vote for with the hope that I won't have to shyly lower my eyes for four years when asked who I voted for. Better to have someone like @pucej in the Saeima. At least someone with knowledge and brains. Let's not talk about the fact that we should have people in the Saeima who can truly be relied upon as real liberals and Europeans, and since I definitely won't vote for Unity, I have no choice but @attistibai.

@JurgisLiepnieks One cannot fail to notice your sympathy for LA. Maybe you could share what makes them better than others? Without irony, I'm genuinely interested in your opinion.

Tomorrow, Sept. 1, there will be 19,000 first-graders. In 7 years, at best 11,000. Because that's how many were born this year. So in 7 years there will be half as many. Every month the external debt grows by 200 million. The Siliņa/Kulbergs government has brought 130,000 migrants into Latvia. The numbers are inexorable. https://t.co/nJQMj9Alks

@JurgisKlotins Simplifying: elsewhere in the world harvests are relatively good and prices lower, but in Latvia the weather is bad and harvests are not great.

@J_Hermanis Why is agriculture declining? Is there a lack of added value in the end product? Or are we overall lagging in how much income is earned per hectare?

The United List is invincible. Also glad about Latvia's Development. If it gets into the Saeima, there is hope to form a government without LPV and without PRO, which would be good.

New Unity is the least loved of the parties. Stably between Sovereign Power and Stability. Deservedly.

Hmmm… This is supposedly a technical government, says Valainis, and nothing important can be decided, but the deal is still planned by the end of the year. So they hope there will be some other government, obviously without Kulbergs. Everything shows that it will be without ZZS. https://t.co/UZic8bmnnC

We are advancing a comprehensive immigration restriction plan❗️ Based on the on the recommendations of the Saeima parliamentary investigation committee and fulfilling what is set out in the the government declaration, I am submitting for consideration the comprehensive immigration restriction plan prepared by the Ministry of the Interior. The plan provides for: 🔹 quotas for third-country nationals; 🔹 strict requirements for foreign students and universities; 🔹 restrictions on the employment of foreigners and the operation of courier services; 🔹 stricter control of asylum seekers and regular raids; 🔹 National Defense Service in the State Border Guard. We must not allow immigrants from other regions of the world to replace our nation. A strict immigration policy is a matter of the long-term existence of a national state.

@Lato_Lapsa @sandraveinberga there is a reason why tvnet went from first place portals to the gutter. All that terrible progressive slob started collapsing right from her. She accepted no criticism - blocked everyone Stalin-style. Progressive rot

For some residents, electricity supply was interrupted for more than 72 hours. I believe that for the period when @Sadalestikls service was unavailable, one should not have to pay for the fixed connection. ☝️I have tasked preparing these amendments and will push them to the government urgently https://t.co/0qHme6VfiQ

The only change that will directly affect teaching in schools this year is the opportunity to improve grades on tests, which until now was not allowed except at the end of the year for all the material, said Education and Science Minister @IIndriksone (NA) on the show #Labrīt. 👉However, a number of other changes that have been heard over the past month will be considered at the government meeting on September 1. This includes abandoning the percentage threshold for exams to complete 9th grade.

The Prosecutor General, the conductor of the mentu zaņķa and a person close to the emperor, Kaktiņš, personally told Hermanis. And Hermanis immediately began to act to grab everything possible for himself and the party. https://t.co/6yJofxk88h

Even Kaktiņš (director of the market and public opinion research center SKDS Arnis Kaktiņš – ed.) personally told me that if our ratings are at 7%, there will be criminal cases against me personally, claims Alvis Hermanis.
