Electricity prices in 🇩🇪 Germany have fallen to levels seen ten years ago, while the share of renewable energy now stands at 60% and continues to grow. https://t.co/zOV7FxeWdv
📣 Pre-election debates have started in the media. It was an honor to represent the National Alliance on TV24. In the leaders' debates there was a question: Why should voters even go to vote? After Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine, pro-Russian forces had initially retreated. That is no longer the case. Currently in Western Europe and also in Latvia, pro-Russian forces are raising their heads, and Russian disinformation and active operations also play a role here. Ukrainians warn: those who are called 'žduni' (from the word - to wait) are being deliberately activated to work against their own country. Russian troops bring with them war crimes, brutality, destruction, complete lawlessness. Historically, we have already experienced this once... Latvia has its own 5th column that ideologically walks in step with Russia and Belarus, not with Ukraine or Latvia. The coming to power of such forces is dangerous for Latvia. #Saeimasvēlēšanas2026#Ukraina#Tv24@VL_TBLNNK#TavaNacionālāApvienība

Liepiņa, who had no time to look into what smuggling and corruption deals Šlesers has had in his past, nevertheless found time to conduct her own independent investigation together with taxi drivers and now publicly spreads this nonsense. The good news is that LPV has nothing new to offer anymore. Apparently Kulbergs will also gather their electorate.
Oops! JKP sectarian Jurašs appears in connection with the wood industry case. Linda Liepiņa (LPV) talks about what Riga taxi drivers are discussing! But what do those taxi drivers know, right? Jurašs went off to fight in Ukraine. Presumably he's still soaking in the trenches, because Jurašs won't throw his rifle into the bushes? https://t.co/GejX4xq5UE
I hope that others, whose views are close to those of this party, will not be intimidated by the cunning rating data and will vote for ASL! https://t.co/uFffBrAMrZ
Unity has been in government all these years. They talk about 'responsible fiscal policy' while borrowing 2 billion every year, while the national debt already reaches 22 billion and interest payments will soon have to pay 1 billion, another 'small' 25.5% additional burden is placed on capital, as if wealth in Latvia were a crime. They promise 3.5% growth like priests who have never worked anywhere. An economist with a candlestick in hand stands in a dilapidated manor, where the walls peel like a party program, and says: regions, heritage and Unity as an altar, at which one must kneel to receive money for one's 'heritage'. Another court economist of Unity who cannot understand why a neighbor leaves for Ireland. Not because he lacks 'regional policy', but because he lacks money in his wallet. 17 years is a long enough experiment to admit: NO TO UNITY.
🇱🇻 Illegal tunnels from Belarus into Europe are being dug with the full support of the Belarusian special services. Latvian border guards have already discovered two underground passages from Belarus in August. Through the latest one, 28 illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East entered Latvia at once. The tunnel is at least 30 meters long, about 80 cm high and wide, with wooden supports and a plywood cover. About 28 cubic meters of soil had to be removed during construction. According to the Latvian special services, work of this scale on the border cannot take place without the involvement of the Belarusian special services. Moreover, Latvian border guards said that on the Belarusian side they monitor Latvian patrols and warn illegal migrants of their approach.
The historical rupture is finally recorded: you cannot shoot thousands of peaceful people, destroy cities to the ground, and then impose 'brotherhood'. Kinship is not built on tanks and terrorist attacks. The imaginary myth of a 'single people' is finally buried under the rubble of Ukrainian cities.
Many Latvians are in the propaganda trap of the ruling parties! It doesn't matter whether to vote for JV, PRO, AS, LPV and also NA, because they provide no real Latvianness, only talk! Look at the votes in the Saeima and Riga City Council! Only ASL can reduce the number of immigrants and Russians! https://t.co/dKIiycDPnv
@AndrisVelps And why not mention, if they were blocked for the very accusations with which they explained their departure? Doesn't it seem a bit strange? There are many questions, but answers that would clearly convince that ASL is not NA's rescue project, there are none and will not be.
Latvian media bear the greatest responsibility for the situation Latvia finds itself in in 2026 and beyond. I can prove it point by point, if needed. https://t.co/BmZN9yz16P
Raivis has already explained his relations with NA, which he ended in 2020 - almost 7 years ago. And there is no 'some other leader'. Personally, I have never been in any party. But like most people, I got tired of voting for the 'lesser evil'. The fact that someone has blocked you does not strengthen your arguments in any way.
@AndrisVelps Really? Interesting, why did Zeltīts and some other leaders leave NA? Zeltīts, former NA secretary general, who blocked me for rightly criticizing that party!
Look at what a dumpster these migrant importers @Jauna_Vienotiba and @progresivie are trying to turn Latvia into. Riga is no better, today I drove through Teika and Grīziņkalns, from every second or third gateway some imported one is slithering out, and some kind of trash literally pours from them, walking around grumbling, scattering, spitting.
The current Saeima parties. Such a stance will allow them to repeatedly enter the Saeima and trade as before. The only party without external influence or without a 'service to be paid back' is ASL.
@AndrisKulbergs@Apvienotais_ Corruption, mysterious bonuses and premiums, impotence of some institutions, the inflated number of civil servants, etc. As far as I understand, has that been resolved?

The main duty of the media during the pre-election period is to convey to the public information about what politicians offer. The media do not run in elections. Later, in the Saeima, deputies work not with an imperative mandate but with a representative mandate. That is, they do not carry out anyone's given tasks or orders, but vote according to their conscience, representing the whole nation as a whole.
For candidates, the main thing is to communicate what their party's initiatives will be and what their party's general approach will be (in contrast to other offers), so that the voter can judge whether to trust this person and their political force to decide on their behalf.
The Saeima elections are not an exam of specialists, the Saeima elections are not the result of an investigation. Anyone from the people with basic education can work in the Saeima. The Saeima has much more in common with a randomly selected jury in America than with a group of officials who passed an exam.
I am glad that there are still media that have not forgotten these things, especially that the main thing is to find out what candidates and lists offer, rather than making a show about self-chosen crumbs and nothing.
