Let's remind Kulbergs what we wrote here, at the time when he was the only one who didn't know that money was being allocated for the bridge championship. https://t.co/DNkrP5yrkL
@JurgisLiepnieks ...I'll add that we cannot find any specific numbers about the organization costs and sources (I've been looking for the last 3 years)...some kind of 'bridge' peculiarity?...😆
@JurgisLiepnieks While the budget boys play the highest political bridge and deal 400 packages in generous tricks, the taxpayer is again assigned the fate of a bare-handed servant.

@JurgisLiepnieks It's a pity that Kulbergs increasingly gets entangled in the traps of coalition partners. Active and open public communication is a big plus. But rapid change of opinions - from decisive action to compromise will gradually backfire. Support for the bridge tournament is a vivid example.

Bridge is an interesting, complex game. At some point in my early youth I was fascinated. But the government, which is given almost half a million of tax money, better keep quiet about austerity in the future. Pitiful money squanderers!
"Most popular parties", "public mood"... But in reality - a closed database of people who earn coupons for clicking questionnaires. This is how SKDS ratings are stamped in Latvia, with which the media then feeds the people. Public opinion must not be determined by a bubble of coupon earners.
There is no need to initially restrict cash circulation, there will be fewer problems. We need to remove a number of restrictions on cash circulation https://t.co/eEgEG760fV
Liepāja prison is the most modern and safest in the Baltic states. Officials describe the new prison that way. However, several inmates transferred there from Jelgava have complaints, and they have started a hunger strike. The main objections are limited walking opportunities and poor ventilation. The prison administration denies this. 🖥️ https://t.co/jM17tYLWbr

📋 A plan template is already available on the IZM website. I encourage schools and municipalities to use it and prepare in time. https://t.co/DHzKpDgimy Have a safe new school year! 🇱🇻
🛡️ Safety at school also means readiness for the unexpected.
Before the new school year, we have done significant work – schools now have access to a unified operational continuity framework and a practical template for a plan.
🏫 Every school can adapt it to its own situation https://t.co/U0eco0i2yW

@maijaroze_ who is waiting for that? Waiting that maybe something could be done? Well, something more than allocating money to a bridge championship and then wondering who did it :))))))
Latvia has a relatively high hospitalization rate, which is expensive, but could be partially prevented - thus saving budget funds that could be used for other healthcare needs. @partijaMMNhttps://t.co/4XPl3hLBEj
Daiga Behmane on preventable hospitalizations.
Latvia's healthcare system is still centered around hospitals. A significant proportion of inpatients could be treated outside the hospital if primary healthcare were organized properly. https://t.co/rFiBi2CKrd
A company that never sleeps - at the Latvijas Maiznieks bakery in Daugavpils, bread is always being baked. With the municipality leader @AndrejsElksnins, as part of a regional visit, in discussions with the management of Latvia's largest baker, we discussed development opportunities - expanding exports and challenges, such as labor shortage.
The level of military threat in Latvia has not changed - there are no direct military threats.
At the same time, Russia's aggression in Ukraine and hybrid attacks against NATO allies worsen the overall security situation across Europe.
Together with NATO allies, we continue to strengthen Latvia's security. https://t.co/pUAFepBMzt
Year after year, there is debate over whether to compensate Saeima deputies' expenses for transport and housing. The compensation system has been examined by the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau. Although no specific violations were found, it was concluded that the current system allows for dishonest conduct. KNAB proposes reviewing the criteria for granting compensation, which Saeima Speaker Daiga Mieriņa (ZZS) also promises to do.
August party ratings show nothing surprising, assessed Latvian Radio's domestic politics expert and RSU lecturer Romāns Gagunovs @R_Gagunovs. He also said that the rise in ratings of the government leader and his represented @Apvienotais_ is natural. https://t.co/jqnKmu6cVg

Information about the situation with power grid damage - I just spoke with the Lithuanian Prime Minister, who asked me how we managed to fix such a large number of damages so quickly? Yes, our emergency teams have indeed worked wonders, because from 284,000 households without electricity we've already reduced to 2,538 households. In Lithuania there were 260,000 without electricity and today there are still 30,000. Our ST and AST technicians of power lines have done a huge job to repair together 2,369 broken lines/damages. Imagine the number of trips! I thanked the Estonian Prime Minister for their help, who came to assist with their 20 experts. Next week we need to adopt significant amendments so that after such a storm there wouldn't be such a large scale of damages. One of the significant reasons is that the distance of trees from power lines is too close, many trees damaged AST and ST wires, which is unacceptable - the regulation must be changed. There are still significant decisions and error corrections/omissions that need to be addressed already next week at the extraordinary Cabinet of Ministers meeting on September 4 to improve our preparedness in crisis conditions. We cannot allow such a situation during winter.
