16802From@ErlendsBBTHE STATE GETS SOFT💩 It's not often that the state owes you money, but the state refuses to pay you and comply with the @Satv_tiesa ruling. Even the Prosecutor General Meistars from @prokuratura_LV finds it unacceptable, and is now conducting an investigation into the reasons for non-compliance with the Constitutional Court ruling. If the state gets soft, then there's nothing left but to go to court. But is that normal? Of course not. That's why the system must be changed from within. Welcomed Romania’s Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu @oana_toiu on her first visit to Latvia. 🇱🇻🇷🇴 Romania is our trusted ally. Together we defend NATO’s Eastern Flank and invest in counter-drone capabilities. Our partnership is growing further with Romania opening an embassy in Riga. https://t.co/d7bnAhxIYI

Today in Ludza we started a regional forum cycle for farmers, 'Our product, our strength – strong agriculture for a safe Latvia', on how to develop a stable, crisis-resistant agriculture and food production sector. Meanwhile, the task of politicians is to equalize direct payments to the EU average level and VAT on food at 5%.
The prosecutor's office's rabbit @prokuratura_LV and the Attorney General's creation @MeistersArmins consider all those statements by @AndrisKulbergs to be empty chatter. Here will be an official statement. https://t.co/VXgrIgbqHk https://t.co/bDSrGRKaOX
From@AndrisKulbergs@taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ do you think I am an investigator, prosecutor, judge and executioner all in one? I think each of us should do our own duties, mine is to run the state, services investigate, court imposes sentence.

Latvia does not need to return to this nightmare that was called temporary residence permits. 😤

From@Duksis6@AndrisKulbergs @taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ Andris, stop making excuses! Your duty is to find a solution! I have only one question: is there no institution in our state that sees the wasting of money here!?

⚠️ WHAT'S THE POINT OF PAYING TAXES IF, AT THE MOMENT WHEN A PERSON NEEDS SAFETY, PROTECTION AND HELP, THE STATE CANNOT PROVIDE EVEN THE BASICS? People want answers. People want to hear names and surnames - who haven't done their job, who haven't fulfilled their duties, but still sit in positions and get paid for it. That's why society also pays taxes - so that the state provides its citizens with services, safety and protection. I want to say my opinion about the two latest loud events. FIRST - CSDD. I personally believe that in the CSDD case, those responsible must be named and law enforcement authorities must initiate criminal proceedings for the irresponsibility of specific officials. It cannot be that they try to tell us it's an 'accident', it's a 'data leak'. And NO - don't try to tell us now that the solution is to change car license plates! NO! And what next? Will we change street names, house numbers, personal codes, first and last names? Seriously? IF DATA IS STOLEN, IT'S NOT AN 'ACCIDENT'. It's a CRIME, and responsibility must be assessed at all levels. First, the hackers who illegally stole the data. Second, the responsibility of CSDD officials, the board, and those people whose direct duty was to ensure the security of IT systems and our data. And now it turns out that problems in the system were known since 2018, but the person who once reported the 'system hole' is accused. Isn't that absurd? A hall of mirrors state - OUR LAND LATVIA. SECOND - THE STORM. First of all, THANKS to the rescuers, national guardsmen, volunteers, municipal and technical workers who responded promptly, risked their lives and carried out the first emergency rescue work. Truly, respect to you! But what do I see at the state level? Inaction, unpreparedness and ignorance. And then the Crisis Management Center starts telling and blaming that people themselves aren't ready, that they don't have a 72-hour bag. AGAIN PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME!? Maybe each of us should keep a 365-day crisis kit, a generator, a fuel tank, a satellite phone and our own power station at home? The storm very quickly showed how ready Latvia is. Electricity goes out. Mobile communications go out. People can't call each other. And the worst part is that services whose primary task is to save people have communication problems. It turns out there are no backup generators, independent communication solutions and other elementary things that should work in a crisis even when everyday infrastructure no longer works. And at the same time, from the blue TV screens and radio we hear every day - already the fifth year of war. Fine. Then my question is very simple: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN LATVIA DURING THESE YEARS? Where is readiness? Where are backup communications? Where are generators? Where is civil defense infrastructure? Where are shelters? Where did all that preparation go that you've been telling us about for years? Friends, what did I want to say with all this? DON'T JUDGE A MAN BY HIS HAT AND SWEET TALK - LOOK AT DEEDS. A MAN AND HIS WORD. Those who want to speak - speak up. What's your opinion?
The formulations of the draft project prepared by the Ministry of Climate and Energy and now already withdrawn, which have caused ambiguities and interpretations, will be clarified while maintaining the main goal of the project — to ensure the protection of employees of critical service providers in crisis situations, the Minister of Climate and Energy Jānis Vitenbergs (NA) indicated on 'Rīta Panorāma'.
From@DzintarzAnd so the LB chief's justification that LB's instructions to farmers were only recommendations and they were copied from Holland. A very weak character who does not convince at all with his public appearance.

From@AlvisHermanis1Kaktiņa's rating message to the Latvian people is, once again, the same: you can participate in elections or not, nothing will change, the same old gray people will be in power, the same coalition (at best), in short - there is no point in going to vote. Many people take this message that way, and those belonging to the system are only happy about it. But we have another option. No. 2. That will flush down the toilet this whole rotten loser cartel. About changing the election law. The only way to pull Latvia out of the 'death spiral'. MMN.

From@AnsisPupols☝️ I want to reveal the secret of why 'Dombrava works, but ratings don't grow' and why Jaunups has become more popular than ZZS and will now 'get into the Saeima'. ❗️ The key is the chosen polling method. Both the July and August SKDS party polls were conducted online, a method used less by pensioners and rural residents, but where Riga's beer-guzzling residents are hyperactive. This is not a reproach to Arnims Kaktiņš, who is a private entrepreneur and can conduct whatever polls he wants. This is a reproach to @lsmlv, which hides its chosen polling method from its viewers. #IzrādāsArīTāVar

From@JurgisLiepnieksFor professionals, the first months of a government are an opportunity for productive, big decisions, and active work, because usually then there is still a large credit of trust from the public and media, good relations in the coalition, everyone is full of energy, etc. Kulbergs has not been able to use this time usefully. He merely flows with the stream and comments on what he sees (though in education there are significantly harmful, erroneous decisions that will affect everyone).

From@andrislovStrazdiņa stands by the house in New York, Nagla by the house in Brussels. Both retell news from news portals, which could also be done from the LTV studio in Riga. But taxpayers still have a lot of money, a very lot. https://t.co/QItCyPxDnP

From@JurgisLiepnieksIt's quite funny that @AndrisKulbergs in his first 100 days won't have done anywhere near as much as @EvikaSilina did in her first 100. Lowering the bar like that is a skill.
