Correct! Need to go on coupons! Or cards! Or limit the profits of the scoundrels! Even better - nationalize! The state is the best manager! https://t.co/qRzUZiQhxY

How come there are restrictions on the purchase of pellets in summer, because manufacturers primarily supply to other countries? Meanwhile Latvia produces 10x more than it consumes itself. Shouldn't Latvia's residents have some priority? I wonder if anyone at the Ministry of Economics is thinking about solving this at all, @JanisVitenbergs?

What is it, if not fireworks? 🎆🥳 “It is very good that the fireworks element is returning to the city's official events, especially on the city's significant 825th birthday,” said the vice-mayor. Ratnieks stressed that the 825th birthday is a significant and noteworthy event and, in his opinion, it would be positive to allow Riga residents and city guests to celebrate this important city birthday “with an open heart and then remember it all with beautiful memories.” He recalled that it was similar with the celebration of Riga's 800th birthday, whose events and fireworks people still remember with pleasant feelings and a sense of belonging to the city. “In any case, the residents and guests who were at the festivities on the Krastmala really liked this fireworks show and appreciated it favorably,” said Ratnieks. He thanked the event organizers and praised the work invested by the organizers and artists. In turn, different assessments have appeared on social media. Some are happy about the well-organized event, while others ask questions about why the fireworks are called a light show and whether it means that fireworks will take place again at celebrations in Riga in the future.” /LETA/ 🤗🎉

This is not the fireworks that was banned while UA [Ukraine] is at war, explained @RigasDome mayor @VKleinbergs @Progresivie advisor Lukjanska. This was a much more expensive fireworks – the light show used lasers, spotlights, fountains, smoke machines, pyrotechnics. @EdvardsRatnieks joins in.🥳 #Rīgai825 https://t.co/xvhVvZxKc5

Why do progressive Marxists fight hatred so much? Because hatred gives the ability to resist, the ability to stand against the enemy. Pro's goal is the destruction of national states. Our destruction, the destruction of you and me. Hatred is a natural trait, a protective trait.

The only contribution of PRO to Latvian basketball – attempts to close 'Ghetto Games' in Grīziņkalns, which Kotello did not succeed in doing. What hypocrites must one be to now stand by this achievement? https://t.co/S559d6cz1R

I hadn't thought that the conceited narcissist was capable of such harsh self-criticism - 'I will never be able to change'… https://t.co/2F4WsdTOU2

Basketball yesterday was a good example. There are people who are born with a winner's mentality. That's their nature. Over the years, working in the world's best theatres and opera houses, I have noticed that this type of person can be recognised by their faces. There is some other look in their eyes. A different sinew. And then there are the others. Those whom fate has decreed will never be on the winning side. They would perhaps like to be, but nothing will ever come of it. It shows in their faces too. They are slightly flaccid faces. Here again a good example is all those grey people of the Latvian parties and their voters, who will vote for them again and again. That is fate. And no one can do or change anything about it. Because changing is impossible for them and not intended. That's how nature has arranged it.

I like that Spriņģe exposes the Progressives' primitive message – frightening that they will take away democracy, with Trumpism and Orbanization, that women will start being beaten... All these perfect themes - because if you look at PRO's deeds, it's a pure catastrophe! Thanks to Inga – keep it up! https://t.co/1NfSK3VfkJ

Ugh, what bravado! Hope it doesn't turn out to be another piece of 'crap' or 'complete manure'. Those are real obligations arising from real nominal values. The market's assessment of the chances to recover them may vary. On the state side, an uncollected five-euro is equal in sign to a spent five-euro. The government has given the green light to all these matters, arising from the Ministry of Transport, but will implement them sequentially and with additional decisions. That doesn't change the fact that the government has decided on the specific support package, including potentially another 30 million. Language can be a tricky thing; I'll consider organizing some courses for those interested. :)

@ViestursDeksnis @Lato_Lapsa The church divided and did not defend Christians during COVID, demanded certificates and sorted. The church is silent about LGBT activities and does not defend conservative values and traditional families! That's why Aglona festival is half-empty and will be fewer and fewer each year!

@Lato_Lapsa State officials should not speak at such level Christian holidays. God must be at the center. Accordingly, those who can speak in context with the Bible should speak. I will not forget the COVID time in Aglona, where Levits gave a speech intimidating the people about the virus. I turned around and left.

Everything indicates that the Society Integration Foundation (SIF) will not be liquidated. It is impossible to build a solid structure on wrong foundations. SIF is based on the incorrect left-liberal idea with the word 'integration'. Integration policy has been based on the denial of truth and justice – the redefinition of the USSR's colonization and Russification crime against Latvia as an 'ethnic minority' issue, which has served Kremlin propaganda in local and international society. The USSR's goal was to destroy the Latvian people's identity and their majority position in their own homeland. From 77% of the state's population in 1935, the number of Latvians was reduced to 52% by the late 1980s, and in the largest cities Latvians became a minority. Historical minorities in Latvia were remade into a new category – 'Russian-speaking people' (russophones). This is well known to nationalists. Since the Third Awakening, nationalists have emphasized the consequences of the USSR's crimes and called both for decolonization and for stricter language and loyalty criteria for obtaining citizenship, as well as for the status of Latvian as the only state language in all spheres of public life. Meanwhile, left-liberal forces took over and, from the late 1990s, introduced multiculturalism policy, copying Western practices, such as the Canadian model of English- and French-speaking relations. In place of Latvian interests came the 'idea of civic society'. In 1998, the state program 'Integration of Society in Latvia' was officially formulated and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. It declared that 'the time has come to develop and implement a unified long-term strategy that would promote the formation of a cohesive civic society in Latvia.' Such documents made the consequences of occupation crimes the responsibility of the Latvian people – to be 'more understanding', 'include', and yield. In the schizophrenic integration policy, the cult of war on May 9 had to coexist with November 18. SIF was created to implement this policy. This institution, of course, completely failed, because in Latvia's case it is not about some historical ethnic minority but about colonists brought in by the occupation forces. The occupation's goal was to destroy Latvian Latvia – this fact integrators have stubbornly denied, building 'cohesion' on the basis of injustice and falsehood... The 2012 language referendum, everyday conflicts over the use of Latvian in public space, and the support of a large part of Latvia's Russians for openly pro-Kremlin parties and politicians during wartime are a monument to SIF's previous activity. In the context of new waves of immigration, SIF, of course, cannot act adequately, because in integration policy the stranger is always the 'misunderstood victim', while the titular nation is the one that 'stubbornly refuses to yield and include someone'. Liberals' laments about misunderstanding Muslims and theses about the 'inevitability' of mass immigration show what SIF's role will be in the upcoming challenges to the Latvian people's position in their own land. But the SIF case also shows the problem of previous national-conservative forces – the left are the ones driving the overall trajectory of society and the state with major state policy planning documents, conventions, institutions, and media influence, while conservatives are those who react, try to do cosmetic repairs, but never fully repeal harmful policies based on injustice and falsehood (neither SIF, nor the Istanbul Convention, nor the institution of partnership). The left act – conservatives preserve their policies... That is exactly why 'Austošā Saule Latvijai' (ASL) was created, because without a reversal process, without bold and sweeping decisions that repeal the previous left-wing policies, it will only get worse. ASL believes that SIF must be liquidated and then a new organization must be created from scratch with a different legal basis, different people, and a state program focused on strengthening patriotism and family values. The new National Cohesion Fund (NSF) will take over those individual positive SIF programs that have so far justified the overall bad work of the institution – family support measures, support for Ukraine, etc. NSF will be a smaller institution to save state funds.

I listened to the whole speech. #krīviski

Shlosberg was asked for 12 years. A totally Stalinist sentence for reposting a picture. Let's not rush to discuss his statements about Ukraine and ask why he didn't leave. Better to listen to his great 2017 speech about 'patriotic education' in schools. If you sum up all 30+ years of Lev Shlosberg's human rights and political career, it is almost impeccable. Such a person should have been at least a federal parliamentarian, and at most - leading a large democratic party. In the end, he will serve more than 10 years in camps. If, of course, Putin and his regime last that long.
