From@pucejWe tried 4 times during the pre-election debates to signal to @AndrisKulbergs that the idea of a “300% tariff” on RU grain railway transit is just a masquerade. In reality, that is what has happened. Grain is still being transported at the old tariff, whose impact on the grain price is negligible in general. And they will keep transporting throughout October, if they continue down this “increased tariff” path of errors. And then the grain to be transported will be over for this year. Next year the carnival will continue. The Prime Minister should remember who exactly suggested this procession.

From@zvejnieka_delsThis is especially strange, knowing that Russia from tomorrow will halt any transit of food products from "unfriendly" countries through its territory. This directly affects Latvian food producers' trade with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, etc. @AndrisKulbergs isn't this the right time? https://t.co/EylpXAkYy0

A couple of years in the life of an obedient civil servant; * implement a pointless project worth €3.1M - get promoted * take part in unauthorised support for the commercial activity of timber industrialists worth €49M - receive €19K in compensation https://t.co/QspyVYn904
From@citskovskisjFormer State Chancellery Director Kronbergs' official declaration has been published - remuneration of €78,982 for 4.5 months of work in 2026!!! How is that possible with a monthly salary of €6,346? I call on @AndrisKulbergs to provide the public with information on whether, when Siliņa signed the agreement with Kronbergs on termination of civil service relations, he was also paid a severance allowance of 3 monthly salaries. On 14 May this year, KNAB detained Kronbergs in the criminal case of timber industrialists. Initially Siliņa suspended Kronbergs from office. According to what Kronbergs publicly told LSM, he wanted to resign immediately, but Siliņa persuaded him to think it over carefully. Later the two agreed on termination of civil service relations on 18 May and leaving office. If Kronbergs had left office at his own request as he originally wanted, he would not be entitled to any severance pay. But by signing the agreement, Siliņa showed "goodwill", which gives Kronbergs the opportunity, under Section 17, Paragraph 12.1, Point 3 of the Law on Remuneration of Officials and Employees of State and Local Government Institutions, to receive severance pay of 3 monthly salaries, i.e. more than €19 thousand!!! Court judgments in criminal cases on unlawful payment of benefits to departing employees include former LU rector Muižnieks, former Mārupe mayor Encs, and others. Perhaps in this case there would also be work for @prokuratura_LV regarding the agreement signed by Siliņa and Kronbergs. The shadow of suspicion is reinforced by the fact that in the State Chancellery's published salary lists for May 2026, the amounts paid to Kronbergs were not shown at all (a flagrant violation of the law). But VID published Kronbergs' official declaration submitted on 05.07 only 3 months later !!!, i.e. on the evening of 02.10. Furthermore, Andris Kulbergs and @MGruskevics, call to account those State Chancellery officials who regularly and grossly violate the law by not publishing the salaries paid to State Chancellery officials. It is a strange coincidence not to publish the list of remuneration paid by the State Chancellery precisely in the months when bonuses and cash prizes are paid to State Chancellery officials (e.g. December 2025). Also, salary lists are usually published with considerable delay. This is not appropriate for the State Chancellery as the centre of government.

From@AndrisKulbergsDay No. 76 in the prime minister's seat (Tuesday) – Cabinet meeting already with -1 minister 😏 I returned from Lapland, but the Cabinet of Ministers has become one minister smaller during this time. 🏛️ Cabinet meeting – getting more and more amusing. The approach of elections can already be felt in almost every coalition partnership. The first government meeting with -1 minister – Uzulnieks is replaced by Augulis, but since Valainis is on a business trip, Augulis actually represented as many as 3 ZZS ministries today. 😄 🌾🚂🇷🇺 grains and Latvian farmers' exports We adopted a decision to increase the railway infrastructure fee for 🇷🇺 grain cargo. Our priority – export of Latvian farmers' products and the competitiveness of our own entrepreneurs. 📏 60 m² of land and the absurdity of bureaucracy Today I learned about yet another bureaucratic nonsense. The state is disposing of 60 m² of land, for which the owner is paid approximately €23, because that is the value of the land. But to carry out this transaction: ➖️ an appraisal costs about €200–300; ➖️ land surveying – another €1000–2000; ➖️ additionally, surveyor costs come on top. This is total nonsense. I tasked the Minister of Justice, Mr. Smiltēns, to immediately look for a solution and remove this unnecessary bureaucracy in cases where such small plots of land are involved. 🚌 €9.8 million to intercity bus operators We adopted a decision to pay bus operators €9.8 million in debt for intercity bus services. This problem has been dragging on unresolved for more than the tenure of two transport ministers of the previous government. At the same time, I tasked the Minister of Transport to bring a long-term solution already in October. Companies must know under what rules to work and how to plan their business further – they cannot live in uncertainty every year. 🎙️ LDDK/LTRK prime ministerial debates @AlvisHermanis1 did not come to the debate. Pity, because this was the right place to defend your ideas and position. I specifically wanted to hear: ➖️ what his plan for Latvia's economic growth is; ➖️ how to attract more investment; ➖️ how to increase Latvia's exports. I also find interesting the publicly voiced reproaches to LDDK and @LTRK_uznemeji about labor migration. Here, however, one should rely on facts, not loud slogans. 📊 Looking at the data on the so-called "pseudo student" problem, it is concentrated in specific universities – and @RostovskisA Turība is not among them. Whereas @darbadeveji itself does not in any way promote illegal migration. Also, for example, the Karavela led by @AndrisBite employs third-country workers legally and in a relatively small volume – mainly because in Latvia there simply are not people willing to do such physically demanding work. 👉 Migration must be discussed seriously. But more importantly – based on data, facts, and the real situation, not statements.

@Kiborgzzz @AndrisKulbergs We'll see in 2 weeks.
From@Kiborgzzz@poznaks @AndrisKulbergs How is the halt of Russian grain transit going? Kulberg's actions in this matter look more like preserving that grain transit rather than the opposite.... The immigration issue is also more rhetoric and putting spokes in Dombrava's wheels....

@DavidsZalans I have always said so. I just told you again. And also directly, both to the prime minister personally and to AS deputies. To everyone, my position on this matter is completely clear. Just yesterday in Strasbourg I also said it to a Latvian journalist from Liepāja. I don't know where she will publish it.
From@DavidsZalans@poznaks Where can one see that you have publicly said in the past few months specifically regarding Russian grain being transported by rail? Have you called on the government not to transport it? I haven't seen that. Have you discussed it privately with the AS Saeima deputies? If the answer to all of these is negative, then ...

In EU budget negotiations, Latvia will seek additional EUR 7 billion to fortify eastern flank - Kulbergs
From@Krisjanis_KIf you read the fascist Russian press, you can learn that the Russians are 'softening up' on any @AndrisKulbergs government 'tariffs' and plan to TRANSSHIP 2x MORE BLOODY GRAIN through Latvian and other Baltic countries' ports than they are able to transship through their own Baltic Sea ports!! Sorry, @MGruskevics, but you need to bluff in moderation….

From@Krisjanis_KHere is a very nasty question. WHY is the transit of Russian bloody grain in Estonia almost zero (they are also an EU state, after all), even though their Muuga port capacity in this genre is a serious 2 million tons? And why is Latvia in the role of a Russian errand boy, letting through ALMOST 90% OF RUSSIAN GRAIN in the Baltic states' ports!!!! Maybe one phone call to the Estonian prime minister to adopt experience could solve everything?🤔 @IvoButkevics @Lato_Lapsa @DelfiLV @Lastovskis @TV3zinas

From@JurgisLiepnieksI deliberately paused for a couple of days, thought it would calm down, you can't swear all the time, but still I don't know how to politely describe Kulbergs' government decisions on the Russian grain matter. So the Latvian government made a decision to ensure unimpeded transit for Russian and Ukrainian-stolen grain through Latvian ports. Only for show, increasing one of the most insignificant transit cost items, which will still allow Latvia to earn a bit in this common business with Russia. As a result, grain transit will not be stopped, it is and will continue at full speed, we are helping Russians rob Ukraine and get money for war. How????? That is Kulbergs' real policy.
