❗️❗️❗️Labor must be brought in from other countries, says @RostovskisA. There is no other way out, he adds. 🇱🇻🚗 However, unfortunately there are still cases where Latvians willing to work leave our country. 🇳🇴 Two months ago, an older woman from a small town on the Kurzeme coast went to Norway, where she was paid a salary of 800 euros at a local grocery store. I understand that in the age of artificial intelligence, the seller is a disappearing profession and rural shops do not have large turnover. ☝️However, the overall numbers must be taken into account. 👉 SIA “Rimi Latvija” profit in 2025 was 39 million euros. 👉 SIA “Maxima Latvija” - 50 million. 👉 Lidl's profit is negative, but that is because the company is rapidly expanding its operations in Latvia, and its turnover in 2024 was 460 million. Of course, Latvian Elvi and Top and those that the Enterprise Register shows lower incomes must compete with these international concerns. It is understandable if the members of lobbyist Rostovskis's @LTRK_uznemeji association do not care what kind of employees will work for low wages - Latvians or Uzbeks. 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻 But that is important for the Latvian state! We must call Latvians back and business must also get involved in promoting re-emigration. Therefore, one of the goals of the compatriots' return program must be support measures for those entrepreneurs who employ people previously working in England, Ireland and Germany, and sanctions against those traders who pay humiliatingly microscopic wages. 🇵🇱 And we must learn from Poland how to get compatriots back! We can do this especially because the average wage in the country is rising! #ReemigrācijaNevisIslams p.s. The portrait of a Latvian woman in Norway was created by AI

According to @LaSERdomnica research on demography and immigration, the economy can only grow by increasing the birth rate or attracting people from other countries. Unfortunately, the birth rate in Latvia is also low, and we cannot do without well-organized immigration @AndrisKulbergs @AndrisBite

Rinkēvičs: Kulbergs' government still has some urgent matters to complete before the Saeima elections

“One of the former directors, who knew old Hermanis and his family well, just told me that the young Hermanis in his life has hardly ever dug a shovel into the ground with his own hands…” How common this creature turns out to be. https://t.co/3jRfLpuO6o

One of the former prime ministers, who knew the old Kulbergs and his family well, just told me that the young Kulbergs has hardly read a single book in his life. Of course, the garage boss could theoretically run the country too, but at this critical moment we need leaders who act decisively against: 1. immigration and 2. bureaucracy. Without wavering. Who are not dependent on the old system, on all that political-economic swamp created during Šķēle's time that still holds the entire Latvian nation hostage.

No one is braking the review of the immigration issue in the government, but it is expected that it will be done qualitatively, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) said in an interview on “Rīta Panorāma”. “If we really want to sort out this issue, Friday is the place to do it,” the Prime Minister said.

@yukabrother After Kulbergs' viģika no. 68, I no longer agree with that. If a person openly stands against fighting immigration and bureaucracy, then he is dangerous to the Latvian state and that must be said directly and openly.

@AlvisHermanis1 Don't mumble and don't insult Kulbergs and his family whom you don't even know but I do. Whatever, he reads a lot! Don't mix political life with private life!

Kulbergs is just a businessman who wants to sell golden visas in Latvia for pennies, for whom only what matters is how much can be earned by those who employ “students” here, bringing in Muslims from countries that cooperate with Russia. He’s gotten way too big for his boots. His communication style is also going downhill!! https://t.co/poSDn73NX5

I agree! Such a reaction from @AndrisKulbergs to the immigration restriction initiative was most likely caused by panic. To try to bury it at the root, this seemingly thoughtless post was created. That is not the same as comfortably 'fighting' from the opposition bench. But when will they finally move from words to deeds?

The Prime Minister's apology is a simulated act, because he recorded, edited, and then published this video. Deliberate action. The apology came only after the public reaction to all this. And he apologized to save his political behind. Just calculation. https://t.co/AK4rksywYn

Yes, it was terrible that the prime minister was name-calling, that really wasn't nice, we have always been mutually collegial. Thank you, of course, for the apology. But to those who want these immigrants here, I think you need to clearly tell them that it simply won't happen and help the interior minister in the fight, because the lobbies to prevent immigration restrictions are very powerful. Then everything will fall into place very well. 🤗

@EdvardsRatnieks @AivarsLembergs @AndrisKulbergs @janisdombrava @VL_TBLNNK @AndrisKulbergs does everything to ensure that this government is not just a 'showcase' before the elections. It requires being demanding, sometimes being too sharp, I agree, but it's not a handicraft club where everyone needs to be coddled. Name-calling is not cool! 👌🏻😉

@thejaniz @MGruskevics @AivarsLembergs @AndrisKulbergs @janisdombrava @VL_TBLNNK Thank you, I think so far the work with AS has proven very good, however immigration is something that must be fought immediately and lenient attitude towards it will not be tolerated. There is no need to slow this down, let the minister do his job and everything will be fine.

@EdvardsRatnieks @MGruskevics @AivarsLembergs @AndrisKulbergs @janisdombrava @VL_TBLNNK In any case 1-0 in your favor, but you chose the wrong imaginary opponent, because simply in the future this very situation will hurt you when forming policy. Because until now it seemed that AS + NA could work together so well, but in politics there are no friends, right? :)

1) All of this was thought through in the Saeima investigative committee over several months, moreover, all coalition parties voted to approve the conclusions and proposals! 2) From these conclusions and proposals, an immigration restriction plan was created and it has been agreed upon since July 24! These doubts are completely out of place!

Yes, we did everything very precisely. Because in the coalition this issue was braked and postponed. Otherwise, if the public had not been informed and involved, this immigration plan would have been dragged out for a long time and most likely no decision would have been made at all. We care about its real progress. You yourselves see that its progress was deliberately not coordinated, because in coordination the document was from July 24.

But then the question, why did NA yesterday start saying that Kulbergs supports immigration? That he is slowing something down. Why was such rhetoric only heard yesterday, do you yourselves think you behaved adequately, knowing that the review was postponed? You clearly knew that this issue would be reviewed. You started poking, disrespecting, and here is the result. Is this politics?

Any humiliation of a minister, stalling or postponing of immigration control will not be tolerated.

I ask you… Can we do without clichés? @AndrisKulbergs asked @janisdombrava to improve his report on Immigration! Bring it in a week for politicians to get acquainted. Because officials had already gotten lost in their own environment and had achieved nothing. Exaggerations started from @VL_TBLNNK that someone in the government is stalling something. I remind you that the government is formed by 4 parties, which have the right to demand something from each other! No need to panic about that! Could have done without harshness, but ratings do their job… Now they agreed on a political format to discuss things that can be fixed. Next week they will look at the questions prepared by @IeM_gov_lv for the Cabinet meeting. #chill

@AndrisKulbergs Kulberg, why is it required to coordinate the anti-migration plan with 'I want to help refugees' and the convicted Raubiško? What does it have to do with anything? Instead, there should be a requirement to coordinate the anti-migration plan with 'Austošā Saule Latvijai'! https://t.co/jcmRuPI6B4

@EdvardsRatnieks @AivarsLembergs Dombrava really sometimes rushes everything. His zeal to deal with the black invasion is understandable, his zeal to deal with the bureaucracy that Kulbergs so ardently defends is understandable, but his tactics are not understandable. Did Dombrava achieve a result? No, rather the opposite. Was it well thought out? No!

However, Andris Kulbergs (AS) is also a blabbermouth. In fact, the plan should be this - from tomorrow, completely ban any migration, and then for those they want to let in, prepare plans, coordinate, etc., even to infinity. Migration must be stopped immediately.
