Does anyone really think that an exhibition about collaborators could be held in a place where the first fiddle is played by communist and collaborator Ēlerte? https://t.co/NDTE7BozHr
From@KBlumbergaIt turns out @okupacijas_muz refused to exhibit @Lato_Lapsa's collaborators exhibition. Words fail to even comprehend it – @okupacijas_muz REFUSES THE EXPOSITION ABOUT THE OCCUPATION.🤦♀️ Isn't there grounds for evaluating the museum's activities, @KM_kultura @NaurisPuntulis @Ivars_Abolins @AndrisKulbergs⁉️ https://t.co/nRVVm63pNU

@inesevoika @E_Stendzenieks @AivarsMarkots @AndrisKulbergs You have renounced your Latvianness, you are no longer a Latvian. Stop pretending to be Latvian, that is something like "black face". It looks very inappropriate.

The director of the Occupation Museum called on Kubergs to weigh his words about the museum.
@inesevoika And he did the right thing. One might think Ukrainians don't know what occupation is. Ukrainians have also experienced the Holodomor, with 3–4 million starved to death…
From@inesevoikaI didn't want to write about Kulbergs again, but my heart bleeds reading this. Kulbergs replaces the Occupation Museum with ... the Motor Museum, because he "wanted to show the high Ukrainian guest something special and memorable." https://t.co/jpqoRDmrU0

@Apvienotais_ candidate for prime minister @AndrisKulbergs in his video statements stubbornly talks only about illegal migration. That is political hypocrisy and manipulation - living in a private house neighborhood, he won't have to deal with the "safety culture" brought by migrants from third countries. Denmark's and the Netherlands' long-term studies clearly prove: legal immigration from third countries has no positive contribution to the economy! It creates pure losses to the state treasury (in Denmark on average -€14,200 per person per year), drowns our national language, culture, and creates enormous security risks. The only benefit is the cheap labor lobby of certain entrepreneurs. Against this background, illegal migration is a completely different and much smaller problem!
BNN Focus | Political party review: National Alliance – from the 'hard electorate' to the fight for its niche
From@LZilvinskisOn October 3, 2026, the Saeima elections will take place. For the first time, I have gone from being a voter to a candidate, and I am pleased that in Latvia there is a party for which conservative values and nationalism are not just an election slogan but the reason for its founding. In the two previous elections, I voted for parties that promised to protect conservative values. Eight years ago I trusted JKP, four years ago the United List. However, the Partnership regulation was adopted, the Istanbul Convention was ratified, and the promises remained where they were made: before the elections. After this disappointment, I got tired of waiting for someone else to fulfill what was promised. So in 2024 I joined the association 'Austošā Saule', because I knew that its goal was to become a party. Before that, I checked who these people were and found idealists for whom Latvia is not a four-year project but a home built for generations. I was present when the association became a party on 23 August 2025, the only truly new party in these elections. Over these years I have fallen in love with the nationalism of small nations, because it is not directed against others but is an unwavering will to exist. The preamble of the Constitution states that the Latvian state was created to guarantee the existence of the Latvian nation, its language and culture through the centuries. In 1989, when I was born, Latvians were only 52% in their own land; this year we are about 63%. Latvia is the only place in the world where the Latvian people and language are at home: if there are fewer of us here, there will be no other place in the world where we could become more. The promise of the Constitution does not fulfil itself; it is fulfilled by people in the Saeima. Therefore, 'Austošā Saule Latvijai' offers not slogans but concrete steps: - defend the interests of Latvians as the state nation, strengthen the Latvian language and the Latvian cultural environment; - promote the emigration of third-country immigrants and make the residence permit issuance procedure stricter, while other parties only promise to fight illegal immigration; - prevent the spread of Islamism; - amend Article 110 of the Constitution so that the foundation of the family is the marriage of a man and a woman, blood kinship or adoption; - gradually end the Partnership institution, while other so-called conservative parties stop at the promise of not allowing same-sex marriage; - withdraw from the Istanbul Convention and fight domestic violence with national laws and crisis centres; - ensure that families return to the countryside and new farms are created; - actively participate in NATO and remain in the European Union as a community of national states, so that conservative values have a voice in it. These goals are achievable by legal means, but parties tend to stumble in implementing them. I have a master's degree in law from the University of Latvia and thorough knowledge of constitutional law, so I will help turn the goals of the ASL programme into laws that will be written to withstand the review of the Constitutional Court. If you support national and conservative values, and if you truly care about family, nation and state, then on 3 October put the ballot for list 12 in the envelope. May a morning dawn over Latvia in which Latvians as the titular nation are a stable majority in their own land!

Degradation in the media is visible, but the question is whether we should continue to finance this degradation in the same way and to the same extent with taxpayers' money, that is a question for the prime minister and the political environment? https://t.co/1Xc3Kaf60l
From@AndrisKulbergsThis morning at 7:00 I gave an interview to @LRZinas while being in Lapland at the Arctic Summit, an EU leaders' event. It surprises me that instead of the Latvian public learning about the decisions we are making to strengthen security against Russian threats, my 1:1 discussions with German Chancellor Merz about the EU's new 7-year budget, about the common agreement of Baltic leaders to solve the RailBaltica issue, about Iceland's EU referendum or the general EU position in the Arctic in the fight for natural resources and the new northern sea transport corridor... all that journalists are interested in is Uzulnieks being caught drunk, whether ministers use drugs, and why I hold a glass of beer at a basketball game... I believe you can do better 😉
