No, well, yes... - @AndrisKulbergs My innate gullibility also said at first - this one is a real man and so on. 🤞✊ @partijaMMN https://t.co/22xP1O9ga8
From@JazepsBaskoYesterday in debates. By the way, “We change the rules” is about a real change to the election process. And we have no experimental points in our program. https://t.co/8w02Lj4tSS

In the Rail Baltica project, the government has demanded to reduce the scope and costs of the Latvian section...» 0 91
The government still has a long way to go in fulfilling its priorities, but Kulbergs is optimistic.
@JacquesofSTA Kulbergs with his remark simply registered as a Unity member. Geopolitics…, so whatever.
From@JacquesofSTAKulbergs on changing the election system: "That will not be our priority - Latvia currently needs stability, security, and certainty." I translate that - vote for the same people and settle down, a stable coalition with JV and PRO and nothing changes again for the next 4 years. 👎👎👎👎👎👎 https://t.co/SM6QCzjbLX

Kulbergs expects that the government will not be like a typical student who leaves everything to the last night.
Bite and Stepaņenko exchange accusations of arrogance and demagoguery
@mansviedoklis1 @AndrisKulbergs @ivchix The Prime Minister got confused, humanly forgivable, given the workload that most of us could hardly handle. Including me. But politics is an arena for mockery, it comes with the office, so now go ahead and sneer😏
From@mansviedoklis1@guntarsv @AndrisKulbergs @ivchix So in the prime minister's view, everything should be cut - emergency services, security services - because then 2 billion could be saved?

From@citskovskisjKulbergs in the LTV election debate confused several things. In the 2026 state budget, of the total almost 18 billion eur in expenditures, 2 billion eur are allocated to Remuneration. This is not remuneration only for 3,500 ministry employees, but for all state budget institutions combined. Starting with Saeima deputies, ministers, judges, prosecutors, soldiers, police, firefighters, VID, NMPD, teachers in state educational institutions, etc. In addition to remuneration, the 2026 state budget also has the following expenditure categories - goods and services 1.2, interest payments 0.7, subsidies 4.4, social payments 6.6, payments to the EU 0.5, transfers 1.5, capital expenditures 0.9 billion eur. In ministry employee salaries, one can allegedly find savings of 2 billion… Is that really true or did Kulberg misspeak?
@nezinu46 @AndrisKulbergs @ivchix In the ministries work about 3500 people, more precisely 3700. The salary budget is around 140 million per year, average gross salary 2.5k.
From@nezinu46@guntarsv @AndrisKulbergs @ivchix So how many are those ministries?

In TV24's pre-election debates, politicians are tasked with quoting Sprīdītis today
Why does Latvia need a new criminal procedure law – a conversation with Justice Minister Edvards Smiltēns (AS), Saeima deputy and former Justice Minister Inese Lībiņa-Egnere (JV), and the head of the Latvian Sworn Advocates Council Saulvedis Vārpiņš: https://t.co/Kfn1mIMM2W https://t.co/bX6Pqm29lQ
Society is taught to rely on facts, but populists show that one can be successful by ignoring facts. Facts are not needed to become prime minister and move towards victory in elections. So many numbers are being manipulated that it will be difficult to refute them all. That is a method which, as can be seen, is successful.
From@ivchixIt is said that a 2 billion saving can be found in ministry employees' salaries, says @AndrisKulbergs in LTV debates. Over how many years was that intended? https://t.co/GKgruV72bS
