From@katrinailjinskaAlthough I have more and more questions for the prime minister on many matters, regarding the State Chancellery I am 100% sure that there are JV cadres who have been entrenched there for years and now for four months have been bending over backwards to get JV back, rather than be replaced. From there come all sorts of 'crap and muck' and a lack of/hiding of information. They cannot be fired, one just has to endure.

@katrinailjinska @maijaroze_ @dr_furmanis @AndrisKulbergs Kulbergs had not taken into account JV's minibus in the basket https://t.co/P23Ejt0ZA7

From@dr_furmanisRight under the Prime Minister's nose, essentially in the next office, the State Chancellery approves as a member of the RAKUS council a person who resigned after Kulbergs' own report on RS. Isn't it that the Prime Minister has hidden himself away with his actions?

Lithuanian minister: Customs duties cannot be applied to grain transit from Russia and Belarus
From@atis_svinkaThe government led by AS promises to increase the fee for Russian and Belarusian grain cargoes and their processing in Latvia's infrastructure by 300%. Two questions arise. Why do the restrictions apply only to grain, not to all imports and exports with aggressor countries? And why a 300% tariff instead of a complete ban on transit of these cargoes? There is a risk that the loud announcement will become a simulation of action. The procedure for cargo inspections and origin determination still needs to be developed, the EU regulations and already concluded contracts need to be assessed. Therefore, the government must say clearly. When exactly will the restrictions take effect and how many Russian cargoes will actually cross Latvia after that? The goal should not be to collect more, but to stop servicing the aggressor state's cargo.

Additional loan for airBaltic: How big is the risk to the state?
@citskovskisj Thanks for the info - good to know. Just don't understand why you choose to support the JV farm club - the hopeless JKP?
From@citskovskisjSensing the smell of burning, JV is feverishly pushing its party people into lucrative positions. Tomorrow at the Cabinet meeting they will consider the appointment of the advisor Skrodele to the Liepāja SEZ board, who is an advisor to Transport Minister R. Kozlovskis. For more than 2 years the board managed without a representative from the Ministry of Transport, but now a month before the elections there is such haste. Liepāja SEZ board meetings average once a month, but the salary is about 35k per year. When members of the Cabinet and the NGO Memorandum Council were paid a measly 61 euros for attending meetings, @AndrisKulbergs raised a huge fuss. He called it 'sitting around' and eliminated the compensation. Where is Andris this time? This time he won't eliminate it, because the Liepāja SEZ board also includes their own from the United List. Back in 2024, the State Chancellery prepared amendments to the law to prohibit public officials from combining positions with the Liepāja SEZ and free port boards. We also planned to significantly reduce the remuneration of board members. After lobbyists visited Siliņa, everything was adjusted. After all, one must support one's own.

The big pre-election debates have begun on TV24 with sharp exchanges of opinions.
Now I must say - Kulbergs vulgaris. Kulbergs empty bidder. https://t.co/8eARaRts5w
From@Mikipele6The ruling coalition promises that the transit tariffs for Russian bloody grain will be significantly raised, but does not say which exactly, of the many transit corridor tariffs, they will be. Considering that only a few of them, and not the most important ones, the state is able to influence, this sounds more like populism. https://t.co/NZzVqYxyRw
