In debates everyone bravely speaks against immigration, but when @janisdombrava advances an immigration restriction plan in the government, no one rushes to support it and the issue allegedly needs to be postponed. The government action plan must be fulfilled - @VL_TBLNNK will bring this issue forward again after a week.

Total nonsense and drivel @JaunsLV, you do understand that, right? How can you put together the prime minister's work on weekends with search operations on the other side of the world? Colleagues, I call on you to apologize to @AndrisKulbergs for this and let's forget it. https://t.co/1cHWvaOxvD

People outraged: while missing Latvians are being searched for in Nepal, the prime minister quietly went to Pärnu https://t.co/r8L3K92NLJ

Riga resident, do you know why utilities are high? Because RU influence agent M.Martinsons steals astronomically. This is a tender where MM's stooge, the boss of “Rīgas Ūdens” Krišjānis Krūmiņš, will help steal about 60-80 million euros from you. The other bidder will be disqualified with KK's hands. Wanna bet? @Lato_Lapsa @ivchix https://t.co/Q7oITC2cqK

Tomorrow, Sept. 1, there will be 19,000 first-graders. In 7 years, at best 11,000. Because that's how many were born this year. So in 7 years there will be half as many. Every month the external debt grows by 200 million. The Siliņa/Kulbergs government has brought 130,000 migrants into Latvia. The numbers are inexorable. https://t.co/nJQMj9Alks

The United List is invincible. Also glad about Latvia's Development. If it gets into the Saeima, there is hope to form a government without LPV and without PRO, which would be good.

New Unity is the least loved of the parties. Stably between Sovereign Power and Stability. Deservedly.

Hmmm… This is supposedly a technical government, says Valainis, and nothing important can be decided, but the deal is still planned by the end of the year. So they hope there will be some other government, obviously without Kulbergs. Everything shows that it will be without ZZS. https://t.co/UZic8bmnnC

Wind parks bad, golden visas good. That's how one can describe the government's current policy. The Prime Minister Kulbergs' adviser worriedly tells on the radio that Latvia needs investments because the budget cannot be balanced. A few days later, the government, with the finance minister chairing the meeting (the one who should be responsible for balancing the budget!), rejects one of Latvia's largest investment projects. Why? Because some millionaires object and can afford expensive lawyers and stir up the public. Even better, this proposal was submitted by National Alliance politician Vitenbergs. Shouldn't the National Alliance care about Latvia's energy independence, right? But no, its politicians have decided that their voter will be the one protesting against wind parks. They themselves also participate in protests, fishing for votes. Gas, apparently, is a politically closer energy source. Instead of ensuring clear decision-making for investors who have gone through many bureaucratic procedures, express favoritism is being prepared for golden visa holders. They supposedly fill Latvia's budget with money. Plain short-term thinking. Instead of reducing energy prices with renewables and developing manufacturing in Latvia, we wait for the Lucky Bear. But this could have been avoided. Also avoidable was the devastating criticism expressed by Latvia's Investment and Development Agency (LIAA), the Foreign Investors' Council (FICIL), the Latvian Employers' Confederation (LDDK), and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) - henceforth there must be a clearer and more predictable procedure for large investment projects (https://t.co/rbOzmuaDaC). The Cabinet of Ministers should not make such decisions on specific projects. The Cabinet must create the rules of the game, not participate in the game. State institutions, after rules are developed, must make decisions on specific projects. That was an initial flaw in the law that could not be fixed in the Saeima in the first half of this year. I submitted a proposal in the draft law that the institution - the State Environmental Service - should decide on such projects. The proposal received support in the committee but not at the Saeima session. In my opinion, what happened is a good lesson for the future. The Cabinet cannot be granted the right to decide on specific projects. That must be done by a non-partisan civil service that follows the law, not pre-election emotions. That will give certainty to investors that LIAA, LTRK, LDDK, and FICIL invite.

Let's go - we cooperate. We can start with already prepared draft laws that are still gathering dust in the drawers of the Saeima parties. https://t.co/dO8g7UJfye You can safely copy our anti-migration plan, so we don't have to just fight the consequences of Kulberg's government. https://t.co/6ZPX462phN In short - broad cooperation opportunities. Just need to do it. But probably won't be without us...

@zvejniekameita @Fio777 @0808Iveta @akmens @austsaule I don't object. But sometimes I would like to hear from both sides - @VL_TBLNNK and @austsaule - what actually is the reason why they don't cooperate. A nationally-minded voter should know the explanation in order to decide which party to vote for.
