@didzisdejus @janisdombrava The obstacle is in the Saeima committees chaired by members of the United List. Amendments to the Immigration Law and the University Law, which would place strict restrictions on fake students and impose liability and penalties on universities that invite third-country students for violations, are being kept in drawers.

‼️ Again, migrant-based business is being lobbied behind the scenes, and again the adoption of anti-immigration decisions is being stalled both in the Cabinet of Ministers and in the Saeima! 🤯 This is already symptomatic! https://t.co/JPpiNMQylC

@didzisdejus @janisdombrava There you have it! The United List is delaying decision-making in the Saeima. For a long time already. And when asked to review it in a committee meeting so it could be supported at least in the first reading, Česlavs Batņa reportedly replied that no one will force him to do it.

«Re:Check»: is Prime Minister Kulbergs misleading about ministries' cooperation in restricting illegal immigration?

If https://t.co/VHNU4GLzdw is currently struggling so hard to fight off cyberattacks, one has to help the publication with publicity. Lato Lapsa: the elections haven't really started yet, but Kulbergs and company have already mocked the secrecy of voters' choice enshrined in the Constitution https://t.co/YblUvE53AL

We have to go vote. That is, in the words of a classic - point 1. Point 2 - for whom? My opinion - a choice among the four written below, none of which is ideal and blah blah blah... but it makes sense to vote for - AS, NA, Mēs mainām noteikumus or Austošā saule... I myself will also vote for one of these.

Today the Cabinet of Ministers took note of the informative report on the so-called Wolt/Bolt couriers, after @janisdombrava's request to include the document for consideration in the Cabinet. Again at the last moment. Again not following the agreement on the procedure for submitting documents. But let procedure be. They reviewed and adopted it. Here it is, everyone can read it themselves - https://t.co/2jumByZ0sa "The plan's goal is to improve the legal framework for the entry and residence of third-country nationals in the Republic of Latvia. Three action directions were set for implementing the goal – studies, employment and other matters, within which a total of 23 measures were planned." The plan's points had to be fulfilled by 31 March. Two points have not been fulfilled. Both concern @IZM_gov_lv. Both are about foreign students who, most likely, are those Bolt/Wolt students we see in Riga every day. Who was the Minister of Education during this time since December 2025? Correct, @dacemelbarde from @Jauna_Vienotiba. She was in office from 6 March 2025 to 28 May 2026. She did not do it. But since 28 May 2026, the Minister of Education and Science is @IIndriksone from @VL_TBLNNK. From the same party alliance as @janisdombrava. Has the plan been fulfilled in +4 months? No, it has not. So much for our fight against immigration with students – Boltists/Woltists. Thank you for your attention. The obstacle.

Until I got acquainted with @J_Hermanis's statistics and forecasts, I didn't know how deep a hole Latvia is in. Now I know what awaits Latvia in the next 3 years, and I know that Kulbergs won't cope with it alone. ☮️🇱🇻

@GintsVilgerts Gint, thanks! I would very much like it if we could publish more happy news about Latvia and if the curves would improve. But there just isn't the material! The system needs to be changed. For changes!

@AndrisKulbergs @Sadalestikls @Apvienotais_ But it is tragic that the gas in the Inčukalns storage will last only 2-3 months rather than the whole winter season! So the cheap gas will run out at the end of December. And in autumn and winter, gas will have to be bought at a high price. We must prepare for heating tariffs to increase from 1 January!

A new business opportunity for elite officials, for those closest to them, for the upcoming ZZS + JV promoted officials, a new feeding trough amid the state's growing budget deficit. Shame. Kulbergs' solution is to be Valainis's assistant. 🤦‍♂️🍄 https://t.co/OjtbDdTcoN

@viuksmp @klavina Completely off-mark recommendation. JKP is worth it precisely because Citskovskis is the most knowledgeable prime ministerial candidate of all. Meanwhile, all the others will unthinkingly form a coalition with Lembergs.

@klavina JKP is not worth it. AS: Kulbergs+, cross out the next 10, leave the rest. NA would keep Indrikone and Liāna Langa, and strike out twice.
