I really recommend watching this @Broks conversation with @AndrisKulbergs. It's calmly and pragmatically about what needs to be done🤝 https://t.co/2WYphNMdt7

@AivarsLokmanis @KBBergis That is chosen by society. Ours is red, wants almost everything for free. 'The state must provide' is surely already the top thesis among all others. It goes alongside 'the entrepreneur is a thief and the thief must go to prison.' Also to fill up fuel with a discount, why not? Lenin lives forever✊

@guntarsv @KBBergis The state must not provide social services! Only security!

It looks like I’ll have to go to the polling station one more time after all and make sure my envelope hasn’t been lost. https://t.co/hwnisfzCh2

I have supplemented the story with screenshots of the 11th, or RSU, polling station, as well as with new information, because votes are disappearing at the 50th and 139th polling stations too. Moreover, the record about the person who supposedly changed their vote/opinion has disappeared too. Now it can be seen that no one actually changed their vote... What to conclude from all this? The election system, for which we have already overpaid n times, is working very defectively, and there is no clarity about what is happening there. "Glory" to Vienotība, especially to Kampars. 🤮

@liana_langa @Braze_Baiba Liāna, everyone draws whatever conclusions they want. It is not for someone else to judge that.

@CerinsAivis @Braze_Baiba Well, then conclusions must be drawn about friendship with Bjork and the Russian theater that publicly manipulates this meeting and what was said.

If this is true, then there is nothing to comment here, or how PRO themselves trampled the principles of the Istanbul Convention. https://t.co/e47FeEzY6u

When you think there won't be anything funnier than a badger-and-hedgehog fight in the pre-election week, suddenly out of nowhere Braže and Dombrava fall out over the Ragozina question, and instead of the police, Kols shows up…

@gatisliepin Gati, my friend, are you seriously writing this? We are not base, we criticise and praise each other based on the matter, not by counting credit points earned decades ago.

Prime Minister Kulbergs must surely be able to show the public his master's diploma if doubts arise and if he really has one. At least at the next video screening of the series "In the Prime Minister's Chair".

@liana_langa @Braze_Baiba Liāna, I think I do not need to convince you or anyone else about my principles in this matter. I am a member of Kulbergs’ association (I stress that) and a friend, too. Our attitude and scale of values are equivalent on this issue. What someone interprets or paraphrases cannot be controlled, after all.

Bjorka writes that the prime minister “does not divide by language...” Excuse me, what are those anti-constitutional messages from Bjorka in the company of the honourable prime minister? A desire to legitimise the consequences of occupation and Russification – de facto bilingualism? I assume that this question is important for a loyal voter; I urge you to state your position publicly! After all – the State Language Month has begun! #AtkrieviskoLatviju

@StafeckaLiga Andris @AndrisKulbergs is on the board of @Apvienotais_. The documents have been submitted to the Company Register. They will probably soon appear in all databases as well.

@jureits But why doesn't Kulbergs appear as a board member in the register published by Lursoft?

@OlavsCers But Stepaņa got a gift worth a decent tractor compared to Krauze's hundred 😅

@CerinsAivis Finally the pre-election battle has reached a truly popcorn-worthy result: daddy's gifts from Russia, a shiny tractor, not that kind of education, drunk driving - what else have I missed? Well done! And what else will today/tomorrow bring :)

Ukrainian civilians in Latvia need clarity about their future status. Many Ukrainian civilians have been living in Latvia for more than four years. They work, pay taxes, and their children attend Latvian schools and learn the Latvian language. The draft law reviewed in the Saeima sets out clear conditions under which Ukrainian civilians who have long resided in Latvia could receive permanent residence permits. At the same time, a condition is provided that Ukrainian men who apply for a permanent residence permit would have to submit confirmation from the competent Ukrainian authority of exemption from conscription for active service. Clear rules and legal predictability are important both for people who are building their lives in Latvia and for our country as a whole. #APVIENOTAISSARAKSTS #MumsIrRisinājums #LatvijaMumsIrRisinājums #Ukraina #AtbalstsUkrainai #Saeima

Russia will not succeed in intimidating us. Together with Estonia, we will continue to support Ukraine and ensure the aggressor is held accountable. Those who ordered the crimes must also answer for them. Ukraine's security is also Latvia's security. https://t.co/qXOFrZ8BlM

@PZanis3 @VadimsLasenko How can I know whether it is a criminal offense? That is not within my competence. I expressed an opinion. For my services I issue an invoice, and I sleep very well :)

@CerinsAivis @VadimsLasenko Shouldn't you have reported a criminal offense long ago, how many events have you hosted while receiving cash in an envelope?

@taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ 1- A fairly plausible hypothesis that ST is a springboard document + I agree that we can introduce laws ourselves. In reality they already were/are. The biggest problem is with police capacity and capabilities. 2- I also agree.

@CerinsAivis @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ 1) Aivis, if all the left parties advocate for it so much, it means that the future plans for this paper are different; additionally, it requires additional spending from us. We can introduce our own laws ourselves, and for now this is yet another trough, and Latvia has no money. 2. It is a matter of principle.

Yes, good examples. Shows the problem. But, on the other hand, the state provides basic services to all people. We are a socialist state. Health, education, including. It is not free in the end, but partially. Who pays for it? That part which is able to work and works, roughly half of the state. And then one tricky question. Life requires means to survive. And those minimum social contributions are based on the minimum wage. I do not believe that most people live on a third of the minimum wage. Do you believe? Of course, there are exceptions, the same young mothers. You can still find them, but those will be exceptions.

Minimum social contributions are absolutely unjust and superfluous. Examples: 1. As a building manager, I needed a janitor while the building's janitor was ill. One person agreed to work. Realistically 1-2 hours a day are needed. For us as an association, it was a big expense because social contributions have to be paid from the minimum wage. Even though the janitor does not work full time, because we cannot provide that for him. 2. There are many young mothers who physically cannot work all day because the child is small and does not attend kindergarten or is ill. 3. There are simply rural people who do not need a full working day; part-time at a school is enough, because at home there is a lot of farm work, but technically they cannot support themselves only from agricultural activity. Or it is seasonal.

@taisnibaskalps @VL_TBLNNK @Apvienotais_ Not so long ago, when there was a lack of substance in the conversation, people talked about the weather. The new trend is the Istanbul Convention 😅🤷🏽 We primarily need to think about how not to go bankrupt. If someone beats/humiliates/blackmails women/children/fellow citizens, then the scoundrel must be punished with or without conventions. Am I wrong? 🙏🏼

A question for @VL_TBLNNK and @Apvienotais_ before I cast my ballot. Will you repeal the Istanbul Convention?

@Lazdans Maybe Lithuanians? At one time they were driving those tractors out of Latvia at night.

@CerinsAivis How did someone smuggle that tractor into his yard? Corrupt people must be exposed as soon as possible.
