@miks_eu I heard you, Mik. Did you catch the thought I wrote? By objective nature, it is impossible to answer your question without knowing the election outcome. Given the baseline data, decisions will be made on what and how to do.
@CerinsAivis It is about the composition of deputies. In the LPV faction, the party chairman will work, whose board member has been convicted to 5 years for spying for Russia. Would AS be ready to form the next government with such a vote? Ratings show AS + NA + LPV = 53. Awaiting an answer, not stalling!
Mik, to press another political force to set red lines, when you yourselves (PRO) at the first opportunity jumped into the same boat with ZZS…😀.. well, that's quite two-faced.. We'll probably figure out ourselves, and (I assume AS too) without Your help, who we'll work with and who we won't. But it definitely won't be You.. also who we'll work with..:)
@CerinsAivis we cannot answer for others. But it would be dignified for any candidate to express their own and their list's opinion. Is a vote for the list possibly support for a government with LPV.
Prime Minister @AndrisKulbergs urges not to hesitate with autonomous driving technologies, minister @ViktorsValainis demands to introduce Tesla FSD. But @CSDD_LV blocks the introduction of Tesla FSD. This is wrong and bad for the country's development and everyone's well-being: my article https://t.co/oZDVmYWtqI
ZZS 2.9% - voters remember your betrayal. The slogan 'Blue peasants' is not forgotten. You had the chance to topple the Unity government, and you didn't. Now take it and sit. Hopefully your party's story will end too.
JV 4.3% - finally the people got it. Better late than never. They need to be humiliated as much as possible, just as they humiliated us.
NA 5.5% - Liāna Langa's effect, radicalism, and division didn't work. The people aren't that stupid. No need to overdo it. Everyone knows that your own have skeletons in the closet and a Russian uniform in the closet.
Progressive 9% - draw conclusions about what kind of generation Latvia has raised.
LPV 10% - if everyone behind you is against you, it's not easy to save a drowning man if he doesn't want to be saved. Struggle and hard work against the consequences of the Unity regime.
SV, the New Latvians, the Russian Union of Latvia 11.4% - who said you can't combine incompatible things? You see that you can: Ždanoka's group with the New Latvians or the New Latvians with SV. Times change, and political math changes.
AS 12.2% - after 15 years of the Unity regime, after Kariņš's foolish smile and Evika, you'd have to be blind not to see the contrast.
Filip, are you ready to answer for your predictions? Let's bet a case of good whiskey that PRO will not form a coalition with either Šlesers or Stepaņenko after the elections? Let's see if you'll continue to be such a bold predictor.
Exactly NA and AS have been silent as if they've taken water in their mouths about a coalition with Šlesers. And that does raise concerns.

A proper Kremlin-style PRO coalition is ready, and the borders to Russia and Belarus would be open to all who want to enter, just like in Spain. https://t.co/4l6KUddtQj

@miks_eu Mik, please let's not start this old song - 'we wait for this and that, demand, etc.' As can be seen from the previous convocations, the unyielding answers and positions have an economy-degrading nature. I'm no fan of AŠ at all, but comparing him with Stepans' traitors is definitely not possible.
@CerinsAivis This is crazy, Aivis! We expect from AS a clear, unambiguous and unwavering answer that a vote for AS is not a vote for Šlesers' LPV government.
Alvis Hermanis: “We are not interested in participating in politics in the sense it is commonly understood in Latvia. We are only interested in — changing the rules. For real.” @partijaMMNhttps://t.co/qDGVnz1cm1
About the latest ratings. The problem is about Kulbergs' potential allies in the new coalition. If they are again JV and Pro, then the cart won't move anywhere for the next 4 years either. It would be in Kulbergs' (or rather, the state's) interests if his allies were even more radical and bolder rule-changers than himself. Those who offer to fight not with consequences but with causes. Not to rummage around and make excuses with some Rail Baltica, NGOs and other state money grubbers, but to eliminate the possibility that such things can even exist and appear in nature. In MMN's party offering, it's not so important who is on the list, but its message and program, which is nothing else but - an instruction. An instruction on how Latvia can finally change its destiny for the better. We won't be jealous if others use this instruction too. We would only be glad. Kulbergs is already trying to lift some of our points from this instruction, but unsuccessfully. Firstly because his allies are stagnant and guardians of a rotten system. Only MMN can have the energy that can give courage to the whole undertaking, because we are fearless and have nothing to lose. For one reason - we are not interested in participating in politics in the sense it is commonly understood in Latvia. We are only interested in - changing the rules. For real. MMN

You apparently have not read your document? I have read it; it is an exact instruction on how banks are to assess farmers as bank clients and what information farmers are to be asked for, in order to decide whether they are 'sustainable' or not. If not, then the client is unfavourable and not good for the bank's 'green' portfolio. It literally says 'Unfavourable' and 'Favourable' client. The Bank of Latvia is not some news portal; the instructions published there are taken by the banking sector as a basis for assessing clients, because the Bank of Latvia will also assess the banks themselves that way. It directly affects clients. It is total nonsense; it is a harmful document that demands low productivity, pointless investments, and puts greenery above the interests of the state, people and farmers. https://t.co/zaKdf1QDpD
1/3 Biodiversity, climate change and other risks affect the economy, so banks assess sustainability risks. But it is not as it has been said. The guidelines do not determine how farmers should work, what and to what extent banks should lend. Application of these guidelines to banks is not mandatory.

Day No. 47 in the prime minister's chair – airBaltic strategic plan and the Bank of Latvia teaches farmers how to live ✈️
This was a day that almost entirely passed in the Cabinet of Ministers bunker – the secret meeting room. Nine hours of discussions, explanations, legal formulations and consultations.
🔹
airBaltic strategic plan
At today's meeting we reviewed the strategic plan for airBaltic submitted by Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis, not the company's business plan.
The business plan is a document for which the airBaltic board and council are responsible. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transport as the shareholder and the government decide on the company's strategic direction – what we expect from airBaltic in the long term, what functions the company must perform, and what goals to achieve.
At the meeting we also assessed airBaltic's financial situation and measures to improve it, so that the company can ensure stable service provision right now – during the hottest period of the aviation season.
✅We approved the representation of the State Treasury at the bond creditors' meeting. This mandate has not changed and corresponds to the mandate given by the Saeima.
The business plan is reviewed by the airBaltic council and the Ministry of Transport. Currently the council has not yet approved it. The ministry only today submitted its comments so that the plan could be approved within the next week or two.
Decisions of previous governments have led to a situation where complex negotiations with financiers and creditors now need to be conducted.
The company's future will largely depend on the strategic plan promoted by Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis, as well as the ability to reach agreements with creditors and attract new capital.
Capital attraction must be ensured.
The current situation is largely a consequence of a decision made in 2024 – borrowing 380 million euros while not making fundamental changes in the company's operations.
These changes should have been implemented two years ago, not continued to burn money in an inappropriately ambitious business expansion plan.
The government decided to entrust Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis with starting implementation of the strategic plan he and Seabury had developed.
🔹
Baptism by fire for Kristaps Avots
Due to the airBaltic meeting, I missed the NTSP – National Tripartite Cooperation Council – meeting with @darbadeveji and LBAS.
Thanks to my parliamentary secretary Kristaps Avots, who saved me and conducted the meeting with honor. It was his true baptism by fire. 💪
Krists also conducted today:
🏅 Meeting of the National Sports Council;
🛡️ Cybersecurity action discussion.
On cybersecurity matters, we continue to assess the security of the state's critical infrastructure and its compliance with requirements after the cyberattack on Latvian state forests.
🔹The Bank of Latvia starts teaching farmers how to keep livestock? 🐄
I met with the Agricultural Organizations Cooperation Council – LOSP.
Frankly, I was speechless hearing the industry's account of the sustainability guidelines developed by @LatvijasBanka.
Instead of the Bank of Latvia promoting processes that would allow new capital to enter the Latvian economy and help prevent the consequences of the so-called financial sector capital repair, it starts developing guidelines for farmers on how to properly keep livestock and organize economic activity.
Seriously?
The Bank of Latvia's council advisor and head of sustainability direction, Edvards Kušners, has apparently prepared an extensive study and report in which the banking sector is invited to take into account a number of conditions in financing decisions.
The industry indicates that farmers whose farms do not meet these guidelines could face higher loan interest rates or even be denied financing.
LOSP's examples:
🐄Keeping cattle in barns
The bank must determine whether cattle are kept only in barns. If so, it could have negative consequences for obtaining financing.
💧Water consumption
It is recommended to limit water withdrawal from water bodies above 10 m³ per day.
What to do in hot summers? Leave cattle without water?
🦌Animal migration routes
If construction or other economic activity interrupts animal migration routes and the entrepreneur has not created alternative solutions, the economic activity can be assessed as environmentally unfavorable – and this can affect credit availability.
Two World Wildlife Fund experts have also been involved in preparing this work. But the agricultural industry claims that full consultations with its representatives have not been held.
Seriously?
Does the Bank of Latvia, which itself in its own research continuously points out that 🇱🇻 productivity must be raised, investment must be promoted, and economic growth strengthened, develop such guidelines?
Has someone lost their way in the woods? 🌲🌲🌲
Mārtiņ @martinskazaks, how have such requirements ended up in the Bank of Latvia's guidelines for commercial banks?
The industry has already received complaints that 🇱🇻 banks have started applying these criteria when assessing farmers' financing opportunities.
This issue must be addressed immediately.

@DzelzsCilveks That is why, in my opinion, for specific actions that may be recognized as criminal under Article 78 or 150 of the Criminal Law, one must first report to @Valsts_drosiba. Of course, one can also talk about such things on social media, but that should not become an end in itself.
@AndrejsJudins So currently, hate crimes, racism, and I don't know what else every NA and AS movement is called, and this is done mainly by PRO, so the concept of hate speech is being devalued. Because most of the events or publications they name are not hate speech.
