Since July 10, the compensation procedure for damages caused by military incidents has been in force, which was one of the 3 main priorities of the Ministry of Justice! ✅ This is not only a clear signal to the people of Latvia, but has also had several other positive effects! @FOXXXIC @ltvzinas Here you have to ask @DaigaMierina, because this is a Saeima question, not the government's.
From@FOXXXICAlso about severance compensation! @AndrisKulbergs https://t.co/CYX0JrZRGh

As I promised, changes will be made and the proposals of the Riga Heat investigation commission and the State Control will be put into use to reduce the heat tariff in Riga. Thank you @JanisVitenbergs and KEM VS @LigaKurevska for a very well-developed plan with clear deadlines and responsible parties to make the necessary changes in the short and long term.
From@Apvienotais_At today's press conference, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs informed about the most important decisions taken at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting. The government's priority is to reduce heating tariffs both in the near term and long term. It is planned to streamline the management of heating supply systems by transferring water heating boilers from 'Latvenergo' to the company 'Rīgas Siltums' so that 'Latvenergo' can focus more on electricity production. At the same time, the tariff calculation methodology will be reviewed with the aim of making heat in Riga one of the cheapest among Baltic capitals. To protect the rights of real estate owners, the Ministry of Justice is developing a new procedure that will provide that a person's registration in a property is possible only with the owner's consent. The system will be simple - the owner will be able to confirm registration electronically. The government also agreed to review the temporary residence permit system, as the current regulation no longer corresponds to the current situation. A new model will be developed using the experience of other European countries to attract investment and strengthen Latvia's economy. The Ministry of Defence has found a legal solution to land use issues that will allow more efficient deployment of radars and air defense systems. This is a significant step in strengthening the protection of Latvia's airspace and improving national security. #APVIENOTAISSARAKSTS #MK #Lēmumi #AndrisKulbergs

⚖️ Not all family disputes need to be resolved in court. Mediation helps people choose dialogue instead of mutual conflict. This is especially important in family disputes, where parental conflict often becomes a burden on the child. At the same time, mediation helps reach a solution faster and relieves the courts, allowing judges to dedicate more time to cases where reaching an agreement is impossible. Today, with the Council of Certified Mediators, we discussed how to make mediation more accessible across Latvia, especially in the regions, so that people can use this opportunity already at the beginning of a conflict, rather than when relationships have fully escalated. 📌 Already now, the state provides 5 free mediation sessions for families whose disputes affect the interests of the child, and 7 sessions for poor and low-income families.
From@BohuslavskaKateKASPAROV: How much will China gain from the collapse of Russian Empire? China has the largest territorial claims against Russia in the world. That's 1.5 million square kilometers. Russian Empire took these lands from China in 1860. China's goal is to recover these lands. This is not tiny Taiwan. This is vast territory with natural resources. There are already many Chinese people there. China truly dominates economically today in the Far East, in Eastern Siberia, and most likely across all of Russia. That's why it's important to understand what Russian configuration will look like after the fall of Putin's regime and defeat in the war.

@AndrisTaurins @Oslejs Exactly my feeling... much better, patriotic people, I met many who have returned back after living in Riga, including the owner of Ausmaņa Kebabs with his family.
From@AndrisTaurinsJust returned from the Latgale tour. I responded to @Oslejs's call, who responded to @AndrisKulbergs's call to spend vacation euros in Latgale. 20 years ago I felt greater hopelessness in Latgale. Now there are many reasons to look to the future brightly. If only more children would be born.. https://t.co/U8pk7aG9Xi

@io7246 Today there was a conceptual discussion in the Cabinet of Ministers about this. Whether there is readiness and support to address it. We will analyze co-ownership and other situations once we start formulating a more detailed proposal. But it must be addressed, because in my opinion it is everyone's right to control what happens to their property.
From@io7246Regarding declaration. Will it be stipulated that one can declare their residence in co-owned property only with the consent of all co-owners? @EdvardsSmiltens https://t.co/JtkmjFvLSx

It rarely happens that I get to visit unfamiliar pubs, although I could and would like to more often. I received a 'Zdravstvuyte/Labdien' greeting from a waiter during the week at two buffets - 'Mills' in Skanste and 'DoorSea' on Antonijas Street. I replied: in 2012 we voted that bilingualism would not exist in Latvia, just so you know.
Based on the company's ability to show return on capital without tax surcharges in the free market. In short.. could also be longer.
From@mansviedoklis1By what criteria will someone be given money and another not? By numerology, intuition, signs of nature?

@Vinny4474178642 Viestur, the judiciary is independent - therefore the sports games are organized entirely at the participants' own expense. Already for the 24th time.
From@Vinny4474178642@EdvardsSmiltens I wonder how many thousands this togetherness has cost? Sorry. You surely got it.

The state will ensure that property seized in criminal proceedings does not lose value! 💶 Today the government supported amendments prepared by @Tiesletas that will allow in certain cases not only to store, but also to professionally manage property seized in criminal proceedings. In practice, this will mean that a seized car will be maintained in technical order, real estate will be managed, company value will be protected from squandering, and, for example, animals will be provided proper care. Transfer of property to management will not happen automatically. The process manager will decide in each case, assessing the specific circumstances. If the property can be safely left with its owner, user, or another trusted person, it can remain under that person's custody. These amendments will make criminal proceedings more efficient, reduce state expenses, and ensure a modern approach to managing seized property. ☑️
From@ltvzinasAn assessment of remote work practice in the state administration is necessary, said Finance Minister Māris Kučinskis (AS) in an interview on “Rīta Panorāma”. The minister noted that remote work has brought many pluses, but there are also many questions, and it must be assessed whether remote work brings gains, not losses. 🖥️ https://t.co/4DugzTCxU3

@viuksmp @wannax_j Valter, as I mentioned. This has to be viewed relatively. I'll give one example from a recent conversation with a friend who is interested in politics, might even get actively involved, an exporting entrepreneur. He could no longer run a company and would earn significantly less. That's how quite a few capable professionals fall away🙂↕️
From@viuksmp@CerinsAivis @wannax_j The salary you mentioned can hardly be called 'not large' if it is 3x larger than the median salary in the country. And it is even indexed.

@viuksmp @wannax_j I have no idea about her skills and what someone would be willing to pay. I know people in Rēzekne who earn significantly more than the sum you mentioned.
From@viuksmp@CerinsAivis @wannax_j If a deputy's salary of €4300 without bonuses is not large, in what jobs in Rēzekne could Leila earn more?

There was just a protest that was supported by Palestinian citizens. They're going to take away NGO money😅 Yes, it will be gone through whom to give and not to give. The councils should already slowly group up, reserve, and call Palestinians for a similar event, because this will be reduced pretty soon. No question! https://t.co/zRxOOa5O4M
From@AndrisKulbergsAmusing how @Progresivie calls out @ZZS_ for placing their people in positions without a competition, but meanwhile they themselves just on 16 FEB in the railway tariff office LatRailNet with 20❗️ employees (where 2x are board members) quietly without a competition (at least I can't find one) extend the positions of 3x council members for 5 years. Why on earth does a small state company with 20 employees need 3x generously paid council members at all? For example 🇪🇪 such a function is under one roof - Competition Board with 59 employees and no council, performing both the Competition Council, and SPRK (regulator), and LatRailNet functions, which in Latvia together employ 243 employees and 3x sets of councils. This will be the first = No1. Liquidate the councils of any subsidiary capital company (totally pointless creation). No2. audit all redundant councils and inflated capital companies, which we @Apvienotais_ will do in government. https://t.co/Efbv0LcKLe

@wannax_j As I mentioned before, I find these compensation arrangements inappropriate. It is not about poverty or wealth. It is the principle.
From@wannax_j@CerinsAivis In this specific case, with L. Rasima's 88.5k euro annual salary in the Saeima, isn't it inappropriate to ask for additional compensation? If the person is not needy, there is no grounds for granting such compensation on top. https://t.co/R5PHK6juSi

@wannax_j I tend to agree with you that all sorts of compensations should be removed. Deputy salaries, however, are not large. Of course, it should be viewed relatively. For me personally, the salary issue was a big consideration before I decided to run. Deputies should also be allowed to work in the professions from which they come.
From@wannax_j@CerinsAivis Should deputies' housing and transport compensations be abolished as outdated and inappropriate privileges? Currently deputy salaries are high enough to cover housing and transport costs, and the original purpose of compensations has been lost, so they should be abolished! https://t.co/zIpQALf497
